Yakima Tube Top Hitch Mount
I bought a Saris Bike Beam at Dicks the same day I bought my daughters new bike. I needed it so I could mount it on our new tow hitch bike rack for teh drive home. Unfortunately, the Saris Bike Beam would not stay locked and kept letting the bike drop to the ground. I decided to return it to the store before leaving the parking lot. For a few dollars more, I purchased the Yakima Tube Top Hitch Mount. It is designed better. Even if the arms to not lock the bike will not fall off the rack. The Yakima Tube Top Hitch Mount has flip latches on the side versus back which do not have to lock to secure the bike properly. Excellent design.

This product could use improvement
Returned bar because it would not lock in place once positioned on bike. If the collar ,where it extends, were able to be tightened to keep it from sliding it would be great.

Pointless
I'm not sure how this thing received high ratings for anyone as I couldn't get it to function. The concept is great, but it wouldn't hold tightly in place and made my bike far more unstable on the rack than how I had previously rigged it up without using the adapter bar. If you can get it to truly lock into place you will love it, but otherwise I can't recommend it because I just envision your bike bouncing all over the place the minute you start driving down the road and hit a bump.

Not a perfect solution
The Yakima tube top opens easily to attach to a woman's bike frame, but does not attach securely and could scratch your bike frame. Ultimately, I returned it to the store of purchase.
