Works Great with Yakima Whispbar Installed 2 of these on my Subaru Legacy with the whispbar flush S6 roof rack and they fit great. Solid product and holds my bikes well, I've gone on the highway and over bumps (slow speed) without any problems and the bikes were held firmly and did not have much play. Yalima bike carrier Well this bike carrier i purchased for my diamond back mt. Bike is a quality made product but i had to modify it in order to feel safe about using it. My front brake caliper assembly sits on the cover plate of the front wheel lock down assembly. I had to exacto knife cut around the plastic for it to sit on the mounting axle correctly. A little over priced but sturdy. Ive only had it on my car for about two weeks now so i cant really tell you how it will hold up yet thats why i gave average rating. May 14, 2013
very well made I like the excellent warranty but even better I like that I will probably never have to use it in my lifetime. The screws are stainless so I can leave the rack on without worrying about rust. The plastic parts are very strong and the fit of the rack is great on my factory cross bars. I have two on my car and although there is some extra wind noise it isn't too bad and I haven't noticed any gas milage drops while they are instaaled. If you don't want to leave them on your car they are super super super easy to put on and take off. An alternative to prevent theft is to get the Yakima lock because it will prevent theft even if you aren't carrying a bike. September 27, 2012
A great product and a great value This rack installed easily on our 2005 Outback and has worked great. All we had to do was move one of the Subaru's crossbars. You won't have to take out a second mortgage for this rack either. August 26, 2012
