love these rods
great feel best for soft plastics. when used with a braided line its like you can know what the fish is gonna do before it does it. and @ the price point you just cant beat it. only down side is the at the reel seat the clear coat cracks when fighting good sized fish like 4lbs fish and up. i bought 6 of these i liked them soooo much.

2nd time charm
This rod allows the fisherman great control over the bait when using it. It has a fast tip and solid backbone allowing for a great deal of applications. I use it for texas rigged style and throwing smaller crank/slash baits. There is a downside however, bigger fish can really take advantage of you if you are not careful. This is the 2nd berkley amp I have owned, the first falling victim to a violent hookset on a 4lb. largemouth. (I still got the fish) If this one breaks, I will buy another!

Amazing Rod
This is a very nice rod. High quality and feels nice. I found it very easy too hook and land a pound to 5 pound bass with this rod. I use it with stik-o's and it so sensitive that you know when you have a nice fish on your line. It also gives a nice fight.

not what I expected
This piece of equipment was fair at best. The rod didn't feel right after I put a reel on it. I cleaned it up and gave it to someone as an earily holiday gift. Get back to what got you here.

Not my match
I bought this thinking of the length vs good parobolic action which is great,plus the lightness of the rod.This is well built except for the Guides.The line didn't flow as well as I expected which was disappointing.So back to the store.If it hadn't been for the guides,it was a lovely rod for the price.

Excellent Product
I needed a specific type of rod that could be used with my arthritis disability in the hands and this was perfect. I need to use both hands to cast and this was great for that application. I love it.
