Rated 4 out of 5 by Definitely not the most padded shorts in the world... Definitely not the most padded shorts in the world... but, you must think about your usages. If you've been cycling for some time and your rear is used to riding, then these may be good for you. They're extremely lightweight and not at all cumbersome to walk around in. As they are an undergarment, they are extremely comfortable and the waist band does not pinch, although I found that it rode a little high on my waist for my liking. If you have a fairly padded or spring loaded seat or seatpost and are looking for something to just take the "wear" out of a longer ride, then these could serve the purpose well. In my case I have a hard-tail (no shocks of any sort) single gear 700c with a firm saddle. For my rides to work, I'm not worried about it, because I'm not in the saddle long enough to worry about an sort of discomfort. I got these for the afternoon and weekend rides where we were going to be putting in 10 miles or more in a day. For me, they weren't enough and I returned them and got a "starter" pair of bike shorts from my local shop that serve my needs. I will say that they were great quality and the gel did work, but not enough for my amateur booty. June 3, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bicycling Short Review At first I was very happy with the shorts but after the first wash the elastic waistband was so stretched out that they were nearly unusable. Thankfully I was able to get them sewn up and now I can still use them. Not real impressed with the quality of the eleastic used in the short. April 28, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not enough padding I ended up returning these to the store because there was not enough padding for me. I normally ride for over an hour and there is not enough padding for me. However, the return was very easy. March 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great biking shorts Comfortable and easy to maintain, this pair of cycling shorts makes for a comfortable ride. And the excellent price makes this a real bargain. January 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Great product and great service. I was given assistance to find exactly what I wanted and am very pleased with the cycling shorts liner and with the service that I received at Dicks. November 20, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for short distances I own several different pairs of liners and bike shorts. For the extra $5 these are much better padded than the cheaper Nishiki liners. The surface area of the padding is not sufficient and smaller than most liners and shorts. Padding works well for shorter rides and I don't experience discomfort until beyond about 20 miles. I have a 33-34 waste and bought a medium. Medium was a bit too small and wish I purchased a large. Better off spending the extra $10 and buying the Canari bike shorts for $40. November 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by too thin we like the canari bike shorts but not these liners. the liners are too thin to be liners. the regular canari gel bike shorts work fine. August 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Canari Gel liner Nice shorts for the money. If you are unsure whether to buy a larger size, I would. Close to a true fit but may run a bit small. August 26, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by great entry level riding shorts These are a great base layer riding short. They're light enough to wear under any athletic shorts you like but still good enough to wear by themselves. If you plan on doing longer rides, however, I recommend you look for something with more padding August 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Product I have noticed a difference in the comfort of my rides. On my daily rides of 14 miles these work very well. On longer rides that I do once a week (26 Miles) I do notice around mile 20 that I'm getting a little uncomfortable. July 22, 2014
