Very Pleased
Very easy to set up and roomy. Not too many 1 person tents with a 40" height under 3lbs. I wish the door would have been on the right hand side to match most sleeping bags. Very little condensation formed on the fly for a 40 degree night. For the price it's a great tent.

Great solo backpacking tent
For the cost and weight, you cannot beat this tent. Less than 3 pounds everything included, AWESOME. If you are looking for a solo tent that is roomy enough, easy to setup (2 poles and 2 stakes will do it) and doesn't cost $300+ that tents of this weight and quality usually cost, then the Eureka Spitfire 1 is a great option! And did I mention how lite it is. Just got back from 3 days on the AT and my back is still thanking me for buying this tent.

Great Price
Was in the store looking for something else. Found the tent which I had almost purchased online a couple weeks before. Light, compact, and durable. Takes up the same footprint as my bivoy sack but you can sit up in it and there is more room for Items you want undercover.

Light weight and small
This is a great value @ a $100 price point, however, I didn't have anywhere to put my backback once I got in it.

Quite nice for the Price!
This is a great little tent, and it has some features of more expensive tents. The aluminum poles are nice and the tent uses clips to attach to the poles. It is tall enough to sit up in and just long enough to be comfortable. It keeps me dry in both rain and hail. Cons: It is not quite wide enough for both me and my dog 40lbs, and it could use just a tad wider vestibule for my backpack. Replace the stakes with better ones.

Light and Roomy
I used this tent on a ten day backpacking trip in Flagstaff, Sedona, and at Mt. Charleston. I was very happy with the ease of set-up and the weight. Didn't get to test it in rain. I was able to fit my pack inside the tent with plenty of room to spare, which I was super happy about. I put it at my feet, but it would easily fit anywhere in the tent, or you could put it between the rain fly and the tent if you needed more room to stretch out(I am only 5'4"). I replaced the tent stakes before I even started out as they looked a flimsy considering the rocky soil I was on most of the time. I was suprised how quickly I was able to put up the tent- it took me about seven minutes from start to finish, as opposed to the twenty minutes it took my brother to put up his Eureka! Solitare tent. It also stood up in the wind much better than his tent, which he had to re-stake at about 2 a.m. I am very happy with my purchase!

Amazing Tent!
I got this tent about a year ago and have used it several times. However, I would recommend getting a "footprint" (a small tarp made just for this tent) to put underneith it because the bottom is like a sponge. The stakes are decent, but you sacrifice some quality for less weight. The rainfly is great and allows room to store shoes and bags under it. The tent is made from a mesh material, but I always put the rainfly up for privacy. Overall, this is a good buy and I say go for it.

Great 1 person tent
This tent sets up real easy and is pretty sturdy. I was a little disappointed that Dick's didn't carry the fitted footprint for this tent. I am 6'4" and once you get a small pillow in there it is just barely long enough for me to fit in. The peak is definitely a nice feature compared to most bivy tents as it allows me to comfortable change inside the tent.

Great Value
This is a high-quality, easy to set up tent. Just be sure to keep a secured sack or trash bag to wrap your actual bag and gear in, because it is not going to fit inside this tent with you. I am 5'10 and although my feet and head cleared the ends, and i had room to comfortably lay and even roll side to side, or flip over, there was just no way I could fit my bag into the tent with me. My bag is an external frame, jansport Carson. Perhaps an internal frame or smoething collapsable would be okay but I wouldn't count on it. I did not take a star off the rating because this is a one person backpacking tent, so I know it is supposed to be pretty tight inside to begin with. There was no reason for me to give it anything less than 5 stars.
