Rated 5 out of 5 by Superman2010 Appalachian trail I have used this tent on both of my Thru-Hikes on the A.T..Absolutely love it! It's not an ultralight tent, but under 5 lbs and for $130.00, you can't beat it. It has kept me dry in heavy downpours, kept me warm in blizzards, and kept me cool in those hot nights by removing the rain fly. I just purchased a new one for my brother in law and I have complete faith it will take him from GA to ME comfortably! Highly, highly recommend! May 30, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by kowen Lightweight, cheap, but awkard shape I had this tent for several years. I replaced it with a free-standing UL tent. For its weight, it's one of the cheapest 2-person tents you'll find. It's fairly spacious inside, but don't be fooled by the s.f. numbers in the specs. Due to its tapered shape at each end, it's a little difficult to utilize that space. No vestibules means your gear gets brought into the tent, and the nose isn't really big enough for two packs without intruding on your sleeping space. That being said, most other tents don't allow much room for packs in the tent, either; just be realistic about what you'll be able to comfortably fit inside. Pros: Great value Lightweight for the space you get Very fast, simple setup Great for stargazing Cons: Not free-standing No vestibules Awkward shape wastes space May 24, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike13 Value! Nice tent for 3 season camping. I'm 6'2" 225lbs, would fit two of me fine plus light gear and is light enough to to consider camping for one with a bunch of extra space. Very good construction except tent floor could be thicker... There is no foot print made for this tent. I made a footprint from a tarp I cut to shape and grommeted, even with the tarp it still packs to under 5lbs. This tent will also pack smaller than advertised depending on how you fold it. A very good value, light, packable. October 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by fairweathercamper Fantastic 2 man tent Me and my 5 yo camped first night we got this. Lots of room inside, good height and it didn't feel claustrophobic, good ventilation also. Easy to put up, only took about 10 minutes with two children to occupy. Simple instructions (but mostly intuition) but needs to be put up in certain order, so first time we used instructions. Floor is a little thin but I am used to much larger 8 man tents that have living areas and thicker ground sheets, I have bought a cheap tarp to put on ground first that will protect against rocks etc. Plan to use it on canoeing trips as it is so light! Rated 4 out of 5 by Gizmo Like the easy set up. Got the rent for me and my dog. Just right 4 us. I use it for short duration 2 to 3 days. It's to heave for long distance through hiking. Was a great deal, on sale. May 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by ibexbiker Great tent for bike touring bought for carrying on my bike. It's 4 1/2 lbs which is relatively light. Plenty of room for 1 person. Love the high entrance. Very easy to set up. Just tested it this morning by spaying it with a garden hose--it's didn't leak! I thought about buying a 1 person Spitfire but for less than one pound extra I got the 2 person. Relaced the stakes--the new ones go in harder but they'll never pull out when the winds/rain pick up. Also they are red in color making them harder to lose. Disadvantages: no vestibule. A great tent especially considering the price. June 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Annie Great little Tent My daughter uses it to backyard campout and we use it to camp along the beac...First time set up should be done in daylight as it is a bit confusing ,,then zip bang goes right up quickly,it is sturdy and dry, light weight and air flow is great if you need it,nice vent flap on top.plenty os space for 2 adults or a couple of kids.. Rated 5 out of 5 by Ted Great for Boy Scouts I bought this tent a year ago for Boy Scouts and have had it on over 14 trips since then. It sets up in a flash even at night. I have never had it leak a drop in the showers and storms. Holds in heat in the late fall and early spring yet it has great ventilation in the summer. Buy this, you won't be disappointed. Rated 4 out of 5 by Texasrulz This is a really good tent I used this tent for the first time in the Smoky Mountains last week. It did everything I wanted it to. It is light, easy to set up, and easy to take down. One night is stormed like crazy. The tent performed like a champ and didn't leak one drop. I have all good things to say except that it doesn't have any vestibules. I didn't know how much I would want vestibules before I bought the tent. That was my fault, not the tent's. June 19, 2011
