Rated 1 out of 5 by This product has issues :-( Within a week of having this ball the rubber coating covering the metal pin that the rope attached to the ball at, has worn off and it now cuts the string after every few games. I'll be returning this item. October 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandson and Tetherball My Grandson is crazy about Tetherball but wanted to get better to beat fellow classmates. I surprised him with his own so he could practice at home. Boy was he surprised. He just kept saying the ball was better than the one at school and he was going to get real good so he could beat the kids at his school. June 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good buy This tether ball has taken the hits of many kids and adults and has held up well. May 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mikasa Tetherball Product appears to be good quality. Will have to wait and see how it holds up to UV sunlight. Kids love it and it has plenty of rope for height needs. The ball material is grippy and easy on the hands. May 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lots of fun This is the only tetherball I could find in town. It has held up pretty well. I anticipate that the string will get worn out at some point, but that's to be expected with the amount of use this thing is getting. The ball itself is pretty sturdy and comfortable to hit. Rated 5 out of 5 by So much fun Seeijg this ball brought back so many memories I just had to buy it! I had a BBQ last weekend with friends and family of all ages and we had a blast playing. The ball wasn't to hard or too soft and even with the teenagers hitting it hard the rope held strong. Only suggestion is to hang the ball about a foot shorter than it says to because it will stretch once you play a few times and the knot I tied was nearly impossible to get out so I could shorten it. Overall great product! April 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thanks for Bringing Back the Memories. As a kid, I loved playing Tetherball in elementary school. My parents couldn?t afford a real set, so they bought a cheap kit. The ball had this plastic bulge where the rope attached. After hitting it a couple of times, we gave up playing ours. Since our nieces were coming to spend a couple of weeks with us, I thought it would fun to set one up. I purchased the Mikasa Tetherball, as well as a 12? 2? pipe, a bag of secrete, and a eyelet. I found the Mikasa tetherball to be wonderful! Well constructed, weather resistant, and the recessed attachment point on the ball is wonderful. Seeing the kids out there enjoying the game is priceless? July 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mighty fine t-ball This bright yellow t-ball is a great addition to our backyard. It is soft to the touch and weathers well. June 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Perfect Tetherball Not too hard, not to soft, just right! A great tetherball! Some tetherballs hurt the kids hands. This one does not. Our kids love tetherball and this is our third Mikasa tetherball. It should last one or two seasons before the elements take their toll. We don't bother to bring it in in winter. It will last longer if you do. Very happy with this ball. May 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Tether Ball This is a high quality ball that should last for many years. I came with rope attached ready to install. It has worked well since we recieved it. Only comment is that the rope could be a little heavier. It works well now, but expect to have to replace it within 2 years as it ages. December 20, 2012
