I would buy this product again and again
Purchased the LED Maglite for our new car to keep in the glove box for emergencies. It came in handy a few days later when a bunch of us had to walk up the steps to a beach house becaused we forgot to leave the porch light on. The light was very bright and gave off a white light instead of the normal "yellow'ish" tint. I also used it at night on the beach it worked great. I recomend this for anyone looking for a small flashlight. I would buy this over the standard bulb flashlight. It's worth the extra money.

Great Flashlight
Beam goes really far, the feature where you can take the lens off and just illuminate the area around you is really nice. It's super bright, with the low and high setting. I think that it's kinda dumb, the blinking setting, you sometimes turn it on accidentally by trying to focus it right. Other than that, it's durable, good weight and long lasting.

GREAT Flashlight
The ONLY con is the confusing and not documented features of this flashlight. Turn it on for the regular beam which more than cut through pitch-black Adirondack forests for me. zTurn it on-off-on again for low-power. On-off-on-off-on for blinking, SOS.. you get the picture. About 5 (I think) settings in all. But if you need to get the job done right, this flashlight shines.

Poor quality
I have had many Mag-Lite brand products with no problems but this light is of poor quality. The micro switch worked one time and never would work again. The second was the same. I got my money back and had to purchase another model elsewhere. Dicks was great about the return.

bright and adjustable, perfect for me
I use this light to pre-trip my bus in the morning and it focuses wide and narrow to do the job just right. It's small diameter makes it easy to hold and store and I hate AAA batteries and wouldn't have purchased this light if it used them. Nothing bad to say about this light.

Great little flashlight
The quality of the modern generation of Mag-Light brand flashlights are superb. The brightness and extended battery life with the LED over the incadecent bulbs is a great improvement. The main thing I like about the Mini Mag-Light, is that it takes common AA batteries. The beam was bright, with little to no artifacts. Criticisms: The biggest critcism is that the flashlight cannot use lithium batteries (unsure about NiMH rechargables?). Even though the light does take two AAs, the flashlight has a rather long overall length. The flashlight should come standard with a back pressure switch end cap, which it does not (one can get these aftermarket, along with night map filters). Also, the sheath that comes with the light should cover the top of the light and secure with snaps or velcro, to make certain that the light doesn't fall out during movement.
