Not for crossbows. I bought these sound dampeners for my Barnett Ghost 350 crossbow. On the 3/4 ' side, they move after shooting. On the bigger side, after struggling to get them in, as soon as you shoot, they start to come out from between the split limbs. Not sure how they would work on a compound bow. I may try them on my Bear Advantage Hunter, although it is already pretty quiet. Would not reccomend for hi-power crossbows. I ended up getting the Limbsaver split limb broadband sound dampeners and Apex Gear string silencers (they look like an S-shape). They work better and really quiet down my crossbow. And they do not come off after shooting. April 24, 2013
works Does what it is supposed to. Put them on a bear encounter and it definitely made it quieter and reduces some shock. Seems to be well made and should last a long time. Also very easy to install. April 16, 2013
