I hate this reel After having to take it apart for the 4th or 5th time to unsnag my line in the first 60 days I owned it, I smashed it on the driveway. Good luck screwing the front cone back on, it's a 10 minute ordeal. I had the same trouble casting it as the other reviewer. This reel tends to bind as it nears full rewind. August 19, 2011
Good Trout Reel This is a great little reel I have used it for two seasons now. I have it on an 5' ultralite uglystick. I mainly use it for trout fishing in small creeks 30' or less across. The only problem I have had with it is when i'm really trying to get a long cast with little or no weights attached, the flick of the rod will click the action shut killing the cast. That being said I think I was probably asking a little to much, and should have put a couple of lead shots on. So I would reccommened this reel to anyone fishing the small creeks. August 7, 2010
