Rated 3 out of 5 by Average quality The case was broken upon arrival and the mechanism cheap. August 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Auger Broke during first time use I really like the umbrella, but the auger broke during first use at the beach. I screwed the umbrella auger in "beach sand" which is not that hard or compact so it should not have broken. For a $50 price, the auger should be of better quality. Other than that, great umbrella. I love the fact that has 100% UV protection August 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product! Just back from a very windy beach trip with this umbrella. This umbrella with the sand anchor worked great for us! (as well as the larger sand anchors) Withstood strong winds all day until take-down each evening, providing great shelter from the sun. Tilt works well, and just turn it around as the sun moves, and tilt the other direction. August 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Happy Bought this umbrella at the beginning of last year. Liked it then but only used it about 3 times. Used it for the first time last week for this season, and it was windy at the beach and it did NOT hold up as the product states. The umbrella turned inside out, the spokes broke.I'm very disapointed it was not a cheap umbrella price wise. July 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by I am happy with my umbrella but worry about durability I think this was a great buy for this beach umbrella, my only concern is the plastic parts. I am concerned about the durability of the umbrella, and I feel it really isn't designed to last more than one or two seasons. It functioned very well on our first and second outing. I hope it is able to withstand a few more hot beach days! July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Protect my Skin Umbrella My Tommy Bahama umbrella, which WAS perfect for a few years, broke. I am no where near any store that would sell one. We went to Dick's for something else, saw this umbrella, thought it felt like it well made. It is. We are very pleased with it so far. Stays in the sand well, had the screw in base w/handles, makes it much easier and digs deep. July 15, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke the First Day on the Beach! I put the umbrella up the first day I had it and tilted it into the wind. It immediately snapped in half. Such a cheap plastic pole. Avoid buying if you're going to be at a windy beach...which most are! July 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beach umbrella I am very pleased with this product. I would recommend it. May 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good buy! This is exactly what we needed. It was easy to set up and take down and did well in the ocean breeze. The store was out of stock so they ordered it online with no shipping cost. August 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by the umbrella was only ok. The biggest problem is the carrier. It doesn't fit back in a torn on my first use. The umbrella from Costco was $10 less expensive, was made of aluminum so it is lighter and came with a canvas case or carrier. If it wasn't so inconvenient to return I would have, The closest Dicks is 20 miles away. August 5, 2014
