These are a joke. A big waste of money
5 lbs? You'd be better off securing your purse to the leg of the tent.
5 Lbs is nothing vs. wind.
.
You'd need about 6-8 of these weights PER LEG to properly secure the pop up tent. 32 total x $30.00 ea = $960...... Oh heck no.

Wow
The weights fit perfectly on the arms of the tent. The are fashionalbe and match the ground. A fit that is perfect.

keeps our canopy in place even in high winds. The only negative comment I have is that when I ordered this product in the store I was told it would be at my house in 3 - 6 days. When I received the email update it said 6 - 10 days. Since it was delivered so late we were already on vacation and the UPS delivery put the weights on top of our trash can!!! We were fortunate the weights were still there when we came home from vacation. In addition, the box was soaking wet so now we have no way of carrying the weights easily!!!

great idea
have not had a chance to use the product at this time but liked the idea of using weights rather than having to permanently attach the shade canopy to my deck however i chose to purchase from Dick's because of the price and the free shipping available at time of purchase

Great for the job intended.
We put up our 12x12 canopy on our deck where there is usually a wind blowing. These weights help with securing the canopy on any day.

Work well!
Haven't had a real test of high winds but these have withstood the recent rainstorms. Very convenient for having a canopy on a deck. A little pricey, wish I had gotten them on sale, but they were worth it for their ease of use!
