Rated 4 out of 5áby Horrible seat back I have owned this Kayak for 4 years now. The seatback straps broke after about a year. Like others say, the back is just awful. Hard, uncomfortable. I just cut the darn thing off and use a square boat cushion for the seatback. Soooo much better and a real cheap alternative instead of looking for a replacement which can be difficult to find. It is a kayak that is really difficult to flip over when on the water, tracks nice and straight. It is a little slow because of the hull design, but I use mine to putt about on a pond and do a little fishing, so that is not one of my concerns. March 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Good starter, needs seat upgrade First kayak ive ever bought. Used extensively the last two years without a single issue. I am 6' 220 lbs. and It holds me just fine. Only thing is the seat, feels like your back is leaned up against a rock, upgrade to a better seat and your good to go. March 6, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5áby needs a seat change needs a better backrest, other than that, it's a good kayak February 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Very nice first kayak After canoeing for over 20 years I decided I wanted to try kayaking. I'd borrowed and rented kayaks often over the years but finally decided I wanted to make the switch permanently. I've had my FB Trophy 126 over 4 years now. It's now my second tier kayak as I've since bought a 14' composite. When I take beginners out this is what I put them in. It's also good when you have obstructions, rocks, trees, things like that because it's very tough, and it's still my #1 when I'm in those types of situations. It's also slow. Never going to win any races with it, but I don't see that as important. Everyone talks about how stable it is, and you couldn't ask for a more stable kayak and that's why I put the beginners in it. Also very straight-tracking. My only complaint, like many others, is the seat. Very uncomfortable, but easily remedied. December 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Kayak and I'm a bigger dude! I've owned this kayak for over 4 years now and I use it all the time. I weigh over 300lbs and I have never had any problem even loaded with gear for an overnight trip. Its fast, tracks strait, and is extremly stable. I wouldn't trade this yak for anything.. Rated 5 out of 5áby Nice kayak for the price. If you want an inexpensive, stable, kayak with the basics that tracks true, this is a nice one. There are only two negatives from my standpoint but they are not show stoppers and certainly don't effect my rating. The first is that the seat cushion could be a bit more substantial. The second is that the front storage is not a sealed unit. We will probably buy a second kayak and since I understand this one is no longer available, it will probably be a Pelican Trailblazer 100. It's about the same, not expensive and stable. Buy a good paddle though, they do make a difference. November 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby Good base kayak I bought one used to take to a local lake for fishing. Very good value even at new price. The only complaint I had was the seat. Replaced it with a Yak Gear Manta Ray. These are also incredibly easy to make trolling motor mounts for. I have a 46lb thrust motor on mine and it tracks like it was made for it. October 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby This product had the functionality I was looking for This will be my first fishing kayak. Just a few minor things I wanted to add for my own . Anchor, pulley system, paddle holder, docking cleat. October 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great yak for a small to medium size person I have had this for about 4 months and have used it several time including a 3-day float rip down the Buffalo National River in Ark. I weigh 185 and had about 30lbs of gear with me. That was the maximum amount of weight for this craft. It tracks very well. Almost too good for a river...but it's always a balance of needing to make a shift in direction vs not wanting it to shift! For these reasons, I call this a very good quality kayak for the price to be used in open water to semi-open water with medium to light weight. If you weigh over 200, i would definitely go with the 12' craft. The advantage of the 10' is that it is so easy to store it, load it, and pull it out of the water. September 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Future Beach Trophy 126 Kayak Long time canoer and this was my first kayak---and I love it! The tracking is wonderful. It is very stable side to side as well. I shoot a lot of photos and lean to the side or turn to shoot behind me and this kayak sits flat and stable. Couldn't do that in my 14.7 canoe. The foot peg adjustments are easy to reach. The front bay is kinda disappointing in size---could be deeper. Maybe it is my technique but my legs get soaked from dribble off the oars. (And I can't find a skirt accessory) Overall, and for a first kayaker, I'm delighted. September 29, 2015
