I've used mine for the last 3 years on my shotgun for crop damage hunting. I was a little put off at first by the 3 dots, hoping to just get a single. However, the 3 dots turned out to be dead on for 0, 100, and 200 yds. First dot dead on, 2nd 1/2", 3rd about an inch +/- windage using a 24" Mossberg, rifled, cantilever barrel with Hornady SSTs. This is pretty durable for a [$] item. It's been bumped against a tree, dropped when I swapped barrels, and even landed on a rock when I got caught up in the bush. Haven't resighted it and it's still accurate. I carry spare batteries but have only had to replace it once so far.The little plastic bands that go to the covers for windage/elevation adjustments are a little [*]. After 3 years, it's now starting to tear just a few millimeters at the elbow. The housing for the front and rear lens covers is more malleable than brittle so it'll absorb a few scratches, but I am pretty rough on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BluEyeDevil You can replace the battery
This is a good basic 3 dot scope. To replace the battery, grip the large brightness adjustment knob on top of the scope to prevent it from rotating. Then insert a quarter or other turning device and rotate counter clockwise until battery CR2032 is exposed.
