Daisy Model 25 Pump Air Rifle 4.7 5 20 20
Great Gun But Quit Working I owned this gun for only a year and it quit working. I oiled it and checked for blockages and it doesn't shoot. November 19, 2011
Just like my first one.....almost. I like knowing a BB will come out, because of the spring fed magazine, as opposed to the gravity fed lever action models. I had my first one over 45 years ago October 12, 2011
Great beginner for my son [...] When I first gave the rifle to my son for his 7th birthday, I was a little conerned that he wouldn't be able to cyle the pump. He quickly figured out to place the stock on his thigh and give the pump a quick pull to get it to cycle all the way down. That was a week ago, now he's cycling it like a pro with both hands.(Great little work-out for him) The stock is a little longer than I anticipated, but with a little practice, he's been able to shoot it with the stock under his armpit and is fairly accurate. Hopefully, this means he'll be able to continue using this rifle as he gets older and bigger. The accuracy is pretty good for what it is. The shots are hard to get a consistant shot group, but his only concern is getting the ting sound when he hits the target, and it does that well enough. The only complaint I really have is the BB capacity. It only holds a fraction of BB's the the red ryders do. This just requires more reloading, which isn't really a deal breaker. It adds practice for my son in proper gun saftey. Barring any mechanical failure in the future, I'd say this product far exceeded my expectations. September 2, 2011
Great buy for the $$$$ I bought it for my 10 year old son for shooting at cans in the back yard and camping. It's great. I have a pump pelet rifle that's not as accurate as the model 25 that was much more expensive. It's not that difficult to reload I just wish it held more bb's. August 22, 2011
I would buy this product again. This Daisy rifle was a gift. The only difference is this rifle has wood instead of plastic. I like it better than my old rifle. August 6, 2011
A great BB gun. Lots of fun. A great BB gun for accurate plinking, teaching a youngster to shoot and keeping up your shooting skills. July 2, 2011
I'm very pround to own this gun Some things are just timeless and this gun fits the bill. Sturdy and will last a long time and can be past down to a new generation. Maybe a red rider would be better for a very young shooter and I all ready had one for the grand kids "and me" so I bought this one since they are older now. I think a seven or eight year old could pump this gun OK. No miss fires because it has constant spring pressure against the bb's. You won't be dissapointed with this purchase. I shoot mine at a target 20 yards away and it is right on didn't have to adjust a thing the factory does a great job for you. July 2, 2011
Just like when I was eleven! The memories this BB gun brings back are priceless. I used to spend the summer with my grandparents in Georgia. Grandaddy had a Daisy 25 and a big sack of BB's. He would set me up in the woods behind his garage with all kinds of tin-cans and tobacco tins. i would shoot all day and not even hear my Grandma when she called out for lunch. When I first took this new one out of the box I could feel the warm summer air and see those cans going down one by one. Thanks for the look back. June 24, 2011
Daisy Model 25 The old times are back!! This new version of the model 25 is even better than the original. It has a wood stock and forearm vs. plastic on my original. It shoots hard and straight, who could ask for more. Great value for the money. May 13, 2011
well worth the cost Great learning tool for children 10 and over under adult supervision. Its well built compared to most air guns manufactured today,no misfires and has good power; easily passes through both sides of a soda can. The only problem is its hard to pump the pump handle,(for children)so an adult should pump it until the child is strong enough to do it effortlessly luckily it needs one pump per shot. May 13, 2011
