Good gun case, Good price
This gun case is pretty straight forward and you get what you pay for. At first I wanted the foam padding to be secured in the top and bottom, but now I think its not a big deal. You can store a few small items under the padding and they don't move around too much. You can also throw your gun's manual or hunting license or whatever paperwork in the top behind the foam. This case currently contains my shotgun with scope, field barrel, and the choke tubes and wrench are underneath the padding along with a gun lock. So far so good, plus it came with two Flambeau stickers!

Good Gun Case
I needed something to carry an antique shotgun and keep it out of my grandson's reach. The construction of this case is better than I expected - the edges close neatly and tight, and the latches are secure.
Since it is plastic, the locking tabs are more for child safety than anti-theft. The location in the handle opening keeps the lock from dangling and banging around during transport. The small padlock I use fits neatly, and is easy to access.
The simple egg-crate foam inside is sufficient, and keeps my shotgun securely in place. Since this is oversized, I might source some more dense foam and make cut-outs for two guns.
All things considered, this case is a good value for my purposes.

Good case
Overall, the case is a good value for the money.
the only issue is with the opening flaps and the locking of the case itself.
I wish the opening flaps would be more "self guided" to properly set them into place without having to re-secure them, or close the case in a certain way, to align them.
Also, the holes to secure a lock are too far apart.

It's a little large for my rifle but that gives me extra room for my spare scope.

Better than a softcase
It gives better protection than a softcase. IT IS though, made in USA. The quality is good. Latches should last for awhile, if not abused.

Too long for transportation
I can't take this case anywhere. It doesn't fit in the back of my SUV, it doesn't fit across the backseat, it doesn't fit anywhere. Its too long for its own good.
Add to that the foam isn't quite the right size and slides around since its not even glued in, I'm going to try and return this case.

I purchased this gun case because of the price. It far exceeds my expectations of an economy priced case. Looking to buy a few more at this price.
