Inconsistencies between knives I have had this knife twice. On the first one, the clip broke away from the knife. I sent it to Gerber and they sent me a new one. After about a year, the clip is about to come off of this one. The clip is screwed to the knife and the screws are tiny with little torx "star" heads that are so small I can't find a tool to tighten it. The first knife opened and closed smoothly. This one is a little difficult to open and close. I have tried lubing it, but it didn't help. Seems inconsistent between knives. I am about to look for another knife where the clip isn't screwed on. It will be cheaper to just buy a new knife rather than keep sending this back to Gerber. November 27, 2011

Awsome Knife This Knife IS a great pocket knife. It actually opens and closes easily, and its blade keeps edge really well. I use it for cutting everything from boxes, to rope, to tape. It still has a sharp edge after about a year of constant, albeit light, use. March 3, 2011

Terrible This knife is very poorly crafted. When opening it sticks and is very, very difficult to open. Once open, good luck closing it! The locking mechanism is very hard to undo when it is locked into place. Although it has a neat design this knife is very bad and I do not recommend getting this knife by any means. June 14, 2010
