Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rod for half the price! I never bought into the whole $100+ fishing rod hype. That is until I borrowed one of these cranking rods from a friend. The eyelets are substantially smaller than normal which enables it to cast 1/4 oz crankbaits a mile. Extremely well balanced rig, and super sensitive. Buy 2 get 1 Free is the sale I've been waiting for. June 25, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by lived up to all of my expectations I use two of these rods in conjunction with each other in a day of fishing. Awesome casting distance using 12#,20# copolomeyer line. Excellent hook setting ability with little effort. And I get most of my fish to the boat. July 29, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rod Extremley sensitive. Have caught several 4 and 5lb bass on this rod. Strong enough to haul them in. Solid hooksets. Great product June 25, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding crank-bait rod! As an avid, die hard fisherman who has been fishing more than most for over 30 years, I've used more brands and actions of rods than I can recall. I primarily fish for bass and prior to health issues fished in over 20 bass tournaments per year. This rod is an OUTSTANDING crank-bait rod. It loads well on the back swing of the cast which allows to really sling even small crank-baits incredibly far. It is light enough to use all day without fatiguing due to the weight of the rod, yet strong enough to muscle in some real "pigs" through tough cover. This rod is better than most other brands of the same style rod, and the few brands it may not be better than it either equals or comes awfully close to doing so....and the rods I'm comparing this to cost far more than what I payed for this. I have a few Skeet Reese rods, and I'm satisfied with them all. The price to quality ratio is among the best in the industry. I've been using the crank-bait rod quite hard for over 5 years now, so durability seems to be another plus. I had a few Carrot Stix rods that all died after one or two hard seasons, and they cost more. If you do a lot of crank-bait fishing and are in the market for a new rod, I think you'd be very satisfied with the Skeet Reese crank-bait rod. March 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Dad won his fishing tournament. Bought the rod as a birthday present, and the weekend after he received, said this is the rod he used the most. Took first place in a local tournament. November 3, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Crank bait rod great rod at great price plenty of backbone light wieght September 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Light weight rod Feels good and is light I love the crank rod for the money you can't get a better rod August 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by 4 on the front of my boat I was in the market for some new rods so I bought 1 of these for a try. Let me say "I was impressed". I liked the rod so much I didn't like casting my old ones. I had to go out and buy three more, it's the only rod I throw now. June 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome price for a great rod These rods are very good rods and at 89$ you can't beat them I have four of these cranking rods 6'6" two 7' and now the 7'10" they all work great the 6'6" is also good for jerk baits April 2, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by not worth buying With less than a years use, the reel seat will not tighten because the clamp screw threads will not hold any longer. I still use Fenwicks from 20 years ago and they all clamp the reel fine. Don't waste your money or you will be in need of a rod sooner than you would like. May 15, 2014
