Customer Reviews:

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by TIP ISSUES As other reviewers have stated the tips on these rods are prone to breaking... if you don't play the fish right. I had the tip break on one of the two rods I purchased because i had my drag set too tight and the fish dove at the boat. MY FAULT, not the rod. I contacted Dicks and they sent another rod at NO cost to me. I've had that rod for over two years now, with no problems and I dare to say it's AS sensitive as my Fenwicks, and just a step below my St. Croix Rage. For the money (on sale) this rod can't be beat. All guides are straight, no excess glue, no issues with eyes, grip is comfortable, balances well with a 2000-2500 series reel. Please ignore reviews from people who have "fished in the surf"... that is not the intended use for this rod. Hope this review helps. June 30, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappionted The rod was great until it was put up to a real test. Hooked a big fish in the surf and the rod broke in half at Cocoa Beach. I had 14 lb. monofilament on the reel. June 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wright & McGill, Skeet Reese rod are some of the best I've ever used. These rods load up good well on strikes, as well as great sensitivity. June 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rod Soft tip for casting light baits, but quickly goes to a strong back bone to turn large fish. Great rod for the price. May 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rods I bought several of these rods while they were sale right before Christmas. I wish I had bought more. They are probably the best rods I've used other than the G Loomis I have. Most definitely will buy more when I find them on sale again. January 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My second one... I was glad to see this rod go on sale - the first one I got has performed flawlessly with a Quantum size 20 reel. I needed something with a little more line capacity for drop-shotting deeper water, so I paired this rod up with a Lew's Speed Spool. Just the right tip action, good backbone, and it looks good, too. Rated 5 out of 5 by Some of the best for the money. Excellent parabolic action I have 5 of these rods. 4 casting and 1 spinning. I use this spinning model for double fluke rigs and some occasional swimbaits. I highly recommend these rods, I've waited and caught all on sale for $29-47. The most expensive being the Alabama rig rod on tackle warehouse. January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Skeet Reese review Although I felt the price was a little steep for the rod I went ahead and purchased it. I must say I'm not at all disappointed. I love the fact that it is one piece. The rod is extremely durable and the action is great. I plan on using this rod both for salt and fresh water. As of now I have it matched with a Penn Battle II 4000. November 3, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke Lasted two days. Until one cast with a a 5 incheck senko broke the top part of the rod off. June 17, 2015
