Nice Fit But Weak Material
I like the fit of this short and the elastic around the waist is of good quality, unlike so many that eventually stretch and lose their elasticity. The material, however, faded pretty quickly, which was not a real problem for me. Mine ripped below the pocket on the outside of the seams without much pressure applied to the material. I had only used the shorts for three months, but I do swim every weekday morning. I plan to buy another pair to see if mine might have been defective because I really like the size and style of the fit, and the good elastic. If my next pair rip, I will be looking for another brand.

I would buy this product again
I don't swim so I use these for just around the house. Like the deep pockets,no stadic which is the best part . I'm tall so I had to get the next size bigger so they fit better but if I just used them for swimming I would go with my regular size.

Awesome
These pants dry quickly. Don't feel them dragging in the water. Comfortable inner mesh. Exactly what I wanted. Wear mine during my pool workouts.

Nice except for the sizing
The swim trunks I currently have are medium and just a little too big. After reading the comments about these shorts being sized a little smaller than normal I thought they would be just right. Instead they were a little too small. They were nicely made and I was happy that they have a true drawstring waist instead of just a tie in the front, but they were just too small to be comfortable. Disappointed
I ordered a 3XL because my 2XL was a little small after my winter lazyness. The 3XL in more like and XL. I couldn't get it past my butt when I put it on but my old 2XL still fits me snuggly. I think whoever produces this swim suit is trying to make money by making them smaller thus less material. I'm a regular lap swimmer.

why have a size chart?
material, style, length (a real pair of shorts, NOT clamdiggers)all good. Unfortunatly sizing not true to size chart provided, had to return and shop someplace else.
