Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Bow for the money - the kids love it! Barnett Youth Lil' Sioux Recurve Bow Package My daughter wanted the Disney Brave Bow & Arrow set for her birthday, it was over $30 and the reviews for it were tepid at best. It was definitely a ?toy? and not something you would use as a real Bow & Arrow set. We wanted something that all 3 of our kids could use to practice the archery skills they started learning at girl scout camp. While a nice compound bow was out of our price range (especially for my left handed child), at roughly $20 this Lil? Sioux set is designed for all kids, works right handed or left handed, and has a 15 lb. pull ? pretty hefty for an elementary school child but definitely well within her abilities ? and it has been perfect. The entire family enjoys this set and we added a second bow, target, extra arrows and an arm guard to the purchase in order to make it fun and safer. I highly recommend this bow as a started kit for kids ? even older kids as my 14 year old is having fun with it as well. July 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Look no further... This is a real review from experience! This is a strong bow and shoots pretty hard. My eight year old son struggled the first time to pull it back far enough to get much velocity however he's a pro after the third day of practice. I would recommend buying a Styrofoam target, one that's soft enough for the arrow to stick in to. Some targets are to hard and the arrow will just bounce off which your kid will become a little discouraged with. Also you can go to Walmart and buy additional target arrows for $2.50 each... buy at least four more and you'll find $7.00 quivers at Academy. Ok that's everything we've learned so far. Have fun!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product for my grandkids all of them enjoy shooting it. This is an excellent bow for all my grandkids, every one from John who is 4 years old to Justin who is 12 years old enjoy shooting it. Justin uses it to shoot small game with it using Muzzie hunting tips. My granddaughters also like to shoot at a foam target with it. I had one and had to buy an extra for the granddaughters. it was a good price also. I also liked it being a recurve I did not want a compound bow. October 26, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by lil soux youth bow Right after I bought my bow my girlfriend wanted to start shooting with me. However she couldn't draw the string back as it was a 50lb draw. So I bout the youth bow from dicks. Couldn't ask for something better for the money I paid. She loves it and has no problem shooting it. Although its not the most accurate, as the arrow does contact the guide sometimes and throws the arrow off, its still more than enough to put a smile on her face, and therefore on mine too. Great bow for the price. Great bow for a beginner. Thanks! July 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great starter bow. My son is just starting out with Archrey and this bow is great. It is durable for the money. My son is rough on things and this bow is holding up well. He is having a blast with it and it didn't break the bank. November 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by good price for beginner bow Instructions on the back when you buy it are very useful. disassembly is very easy, and parts seem very durable. Finger rollers on string make it to easy on the fingers. bought this bow for my 13 year old and he loves it. February 26, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by this product is good for my kids who are just learning archery. This bow came highly recommend by the head of the lodge department at dicks for my children. It has lived up to the recommendation. December 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love it! I have the same bow and arrow set, it shoots well but the three cons are; it's hard to rest the arrow, hurts my fingers, and the Orange tip on the arrow broke off. I'll give it a four star because Its easy to learn! November 8, 2014
