Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Starter Bought this for our five year old son. It's just a tad big for him but he is still able to use it. Great starter and seems to be great quality. April 23, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not buy Don't buy this bow or the Goblen, they both share the same design. I purchased five Lil Sioux bows to use in our boys club. Every single riser ( the handle area that the limbs are attached to) bent to the point that the arrow will no longer stay on the rest. I agree with others who complained about the string, the string doesn't accept the nock of other arrows, you will need to purchase additional arrows, that's a given when teaching someone to shoot. The bow will need to be stored with the string unattached which is the proper way to store a bow, but this bow falls into pieces as soon as you remove the string, which is a hassle. The only good thing about this bow is the price. Ranger Dave April 17, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good starter bow Good starter now for my 8 year old. We have enjoyed it thus far and it seems solidly made. Like most of the time with a Dicks putchase we found it at several places much cheaper. Dick's has really disappointed my family and j over the last few years. Unfortunately they are the only game in town so we do not have many options shopping wise. January 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good fun This bow is a nice product. The sight is a nice touch. Can be fully broken down to store safely. It's pretty powerful, so be safe. January 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by this product is good for my kids who are just learning archery. This bow came highly recommend by the head of the lodge department at dicks for my children. It has lived up to the recommendation. December 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by name is deceiving Way too big for a young child product says it is good for young kids and it is way too big December 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good item Good item worth the money. Very comparable to other items in store December 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love it! I have the same bow and arrow set, it shoots well but the three cons are; it's hard to rest the arrow, hurts my fingers, and the Orange tip on the arrow broke off. I'll give it a four star because Its easy to learn! November 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product for my grandkids all of them enjoy shooting it. This is an excellent bow for all my grandkids, every one from John who is 4 years old to Justin who is 12 years old enjoy shooting it. Justin uses it to shoot small game with it using Muzzie hunting tips. My granddaughters also like to shoot at a foam target with it. I had one and had to buy an extra for the granddaughters. it was a good price also. I also liked it being a recurve I did not want a compound bow. October 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent for the price! Great bow for the price, only flaw is that its hard for my kids (age 6) has a hard time keeping the arrow on rest. I am sure with time they will figure it out though. September 30, 2014
