Replacement Bow Strings
Got this bow for my 9 yo son. A very good starter bow. Learned some archery basics but now needs a replacement string. Can't find any to fit this recurve (44"?). Any suggestions?

good price for beginner bow
Instructions on the back when you buy it are very useful. disassembly is very easy, and parts seem very durable. Finger rollers on string make it to easy on the fingers. bought this bow for my 13 year old and he loves it.

Awesome
My 10yo son got a compound bow for Christmas but he is not strong enough for it yet. Got him this one and it is fun and easier to use. Thanks Dick's Sporting Goods!

Easy to use, durable and affordable
My twelve year old has really enjoyed using this bow and arrow. It was easy to learn to use and after a few tries and practice, he has mastered it! :) Very fun and affordable.

Good size for 6 year old
Bought for 6 year old grandson for Christmas. Hasn't broken yet so I would say it's durable. Good size for him. Wish it had more arrows, a quiver, armguard and carrying case -- all of which I have discovered are hard to find.

Good for the price.
My son is almost 6. This is his first bow. He was able to hit and make the arrow stick in the straw bale target in my backyard from 5 yards, so he is happy with it. He was not able to draw it all the way to where it should be, but that's ok for now. I took the bow and shot it from 15 yards or so and find it to be fairly accurate with the sight, and very hard hitting. With a good draw, I almost buried the entire arrow into the 100 lb straw bale. The arrow shelf is not very good at keeping the arrows in place consistently, but not too bad. Something I find interesting is that the arrow flies better with the odd color fletch facing away from you instead of facing you, otherwise the arrow wants to launch sideways. Perhaps the arrows included are way too stiff or heavy for such a lightweight bow so instead of flexing the way it should, it just want to go sideways for the first few yards. But rotating the fletching eliminated this problem. For those complaining that it is not lined up, give it a try. The accuracy and power is good enough to easily take rabbits at 20 yards if you so choose.

50-50 bow
this bow is good for a beginner and at close range. But when when your about 10 feet away it gets hard to hit and the bow string will bend sideways after a while and will be very hard to hit anything.
