Rated 4 out of 5 by Chuck good bow for smaller kids Good starter bow with good functionality. A bit weaker than I was expecting though and would recommend for ages 6-10. Bought it for my son for his 12th birthday and it works fine but is really not enough bow for him. He is enjoying it but I feel certain we will be buying a stronger bow soon. November 5, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pole Awesome arrow My children shoot it everywhere so if you look in my house be careful of the arrows. April 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by 4MyKids Well priced, arrived timely This was purchased as a gift for my 12 year old's birthday, next month. The other bows we looked at in the store were too big and heavy for her, but we found this one online, and she was excited about it. As she put it, it doesn't look too "babyish" for her. I wish it came with more arrows, but I would not want to pay more for the bow. We have already found a quiver with arrows to go with it. Seems like a great beginner bow, for a "Hunger Games" fan, or anyone who needs encouragement to get off the computer or couch and go outside for fun and exercise. January 20, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by NJzombieGuy A good buy. My son loves his. I had one when I was a kid that my oldest uses now, and it still works flawlessly. I bought a second one due to the new model being ambidextrous. My youngest is a lefty. Left a star off due to the price. Wish they were more affordable. Would have bought 2 and replaced the worm old one. September 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lisa46 worth the money this item was for a 9 year old and she loves it, it is easy to use and comes with some arrows. September 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Momof2greatkids. This is a great bow for young kids. We purchased this for our 7 yr. old daughter to learn. See has done very well it took her a couple of tries to get the pull done correctly but with a little encouragement and a very close target she did great. Her pride in herself and her ability to push the target back and continued ability to meet it has just made her beam. We also purchased the Barnett with the pulley for my older daugther (10) as it has a slightly tougher pull but she ended up enjoying this one so much we brought back the one with the pulley and got her one like this. They practice for hours outside with this and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a way to spend some extra time with the kids or just trying to get them to unplug. It has a good arch and is good for right and left shooters the sight however is not all that great my girls didn't care for it so we tossed it. September 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Dan Not for your average girl The draw length is good for most 9 year old girls, but the draw weight will rrquire exercise to pull and release this safely. Very dissapointing birthday present if they are not strong enough to use it September 8, 2014
