I've used alot of wood sticks in my life time and I would say this is one of my favorites. Good flex, lite weight, and durability is very good. Hope they continue to produce them.

This is the best wood stick on the market, no question. The only thing that's not perfect about the stick is the price.

This stick is the last of a generation. Sher-Wood is about to cease production of wooden sticks so I grabbed this before it was too late.

Had not played in 36 years and didn't know the wood sticks were going away. Bought a composit and didn't like the feel. Bought three of these on line and they became my primary sticks with the composit as the backup. Regarding the weight - feels like you have a good piece of lumber in your hands for the old timers like me. Can do a few more things with the heavier wood stick that I can't seem to do with the composit stick. Managed to get through the Winter season including playoffs with one stick (20+ games). It took a beating and played it until the end. Almost made it through the summer league with one stick (18 games). Had to replace the last stick after game 16 and 10 hockeyclinics after an opponent stepped squarely on the blade and cracked it laterally. Love the flex and curve. Get combination to get the shots on net from the point where you want them. Blade curve seems to hug the puck on the front giving great stick handling and good control on tight turns. Not a real fan of the backhand capability. Tough to get lift when needed.

I have been playing hockey for 30 years and have always used a Sherwood. I started using the PMP 5030 Coffey curve in1992 and have not changed stick since. It's a great wood stick with a nice curve. I go through about 15-20 sticks a year would never even think about switching to a composite. It's light weight with a tapered shaft that allows for maximum lye. The only bad point about this stick is the price, do stores have it over priced all the time including Dick's At [$] a stick it gets to be a little costly but I have found them in other stores for [$] which is a great price for this stick seeing how composite seems to be taking over.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Trevor the Pacman Knapp It's a classic Sheerwood but ! ! ! ! !
The stick overall is good don't get me wrong you get what you paid for. Advice is not ment for street play regardless if it's a street stick. The blade gets dinged real easily also you notice the stick is too light i mean light how you grip and establish a shot buyer be warned
