Great Value
I bought two of these for my girls to use pond fishing. They each landed several bass in the 2-3 pound range & had one on that was easily over 7 pounds with no issues on the reel. Very smooth drag for a spincast setup.

waste of money and time
Waste of money and time spent always trying to untangle or thread from breaks. After a couple of uses the inside rusted from wet thread and caused more snags. Only used a handful of times before retiring. Not worth it if u plan to use it more than 5 times.

Easy to use
Bought this rod & reel for my wife and needed an easy to use set up for a first time user. It was great, she learned to use it very quickly and she is now hooked on fishing.

Reel broke on first use
The line stapped on third cast. Cast release button broke and left rod non functional within the first hour.

falls apart
we have to put it back to gether 4 times noe the thing that u wind falls right off.when you cast it it gets stuck too.

Nice rod, cheap reel
The rod in great however the reel fell apart in my husband's hands. We had to replace the reel immediately before giving as a gift to my daughter.
