Line on reel jammed.
Ugly stick rod is great, however, the reel is terrible, the line got all jammed on my
second cast, had to return to store.

THE REEL PERFORMS WELL FOR THE PRICE.THE ONLY DOWN FALL WAS THE LINE THAT CAME ON IT.BUT STILL A GREAT DEAL IN MY OPINION

Decent Rod & Reel Combo
I've been happy with the rod & reel, but was very disappointed to find the exact same thing (about a week after purchasing this one from Dick's) at Walmart for $10 cheaper.

Product good, store guy sloppy
Rods and reels are easy and fun to use, but guy in store who wound the line on the reels (I bought 2) wound one backwards, so it was impossible to use without rewinding.

Good Combo
I just started fishing since I was a kid. I bought this because of price/name. I am very happy with it. I used it on a recent fishing trip in NY where I was landing 15" bass & trout with no problem. Easy to use. I would recommend to a friend.
