LOVE IT Camp Dutch Ovens are the greatest!!! I have used borrowed ones am so happy I finally bought one myself. Recently I used it on the propane stove like a pan to brown meat then stirred in the proper ingredients, threw it on the coals and used it to make baked ziti - yum. Used it for cobblers and then my first pineapple upside-down cake and all turned out perfect!!! Suggestion for easy cleanup: dutch oven liners - superb! July 30, 2014
Loved it! We were able to cook a wonderfully tender roast and then a peach cobbler to die for! Will cook more in our backyard. July 29, 2014

Great Product! I love cooking in dutch ovens while camping, and the Lodge is an excellent brand - made in America & made to last. July 19, 2013
You need this oven for car camping in style I've been wanting to get a dutch oven for awhile now, and I'm glad I did. We took it on a three day camp out this past weekend and really put it through it's paces: fresh loaf of bread, pizzas, apple crisp and freshly fried donuts. Great time-tested design and the Lodge name says it all. Be sure to get the lid lifter and lid stand to compete the set. June 25, 2013
Lodge Cast Iron An absolute perfect addition to any camping outing. Actually we use ours in the driveway at home too. Cannot replace cast iron for cooking. June 25, 2013
The real deal!! We had seen others use a dutch oven when camping with the boy scouts but had never used one ourselves. We spotted this while shopping at Dick's and thought we would like to give it a try. It had the features we knew were important to look for... the legs on the bottom and the flat indented lid, and we liked the 6 qt size. It came with a small recipe book but it was packed with yummy sounding soups, stews, main dishes and yes, deserts. We did pork chops with potatoes in it and WOW was that good. And we were amazed at how fast and thorough it cooked our dinner! We enjoy having bonfires at home too so I'm certain we will do some dutch oven cooking right in our own back yard!! March 19, 2013
