Rated 5 out of 5 by EBS Excellent! Used on recent multiple-day primitive camping trip. While I would not recommend this heavy beast to hike with, if you can get it to your campsite it is wonderful to have - make sure u also bring along something to pick up hot coals and the pot itself. We cooked corn bread, biscuits, cinnamon rolls and stew from raw meat and veggies in this (obviously not all at the same time). Each dish was better than imagined and better than home-made in a kitchen. One last thing, this does come pre-seasoned so you can cook with it right out of the box. Very pleased with this Dutch oven. My wife now wants a fire pit in the back yard so she can use it more often... So it looks like I'm digging a hole... August 16, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by edge Great memories We use to cook in a Dutch oven on Boy Scout camping trips. My father and I have been reminiscing about how good the food tasted, so I purchased one of my own. The food has been great as long as the cook pays attention to the food. May 25, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kit74 So far So Good So far it seems like a nice cast iron dutch oven. Only used it a couple times. Seems like it chips a little easy, but that might be normal for these things?? Just a few chips around the lip and on the lid. Used it only in the oven so far so haven't really put it to the test with coals yet, but hope to do that next camping trip. July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyHappyHappy 2nd Oven Adds More Promises I purchased this as a duplicate of one bought recently by my son-in-law, as a gift for hiking he does with a group. He loves his and said if he had another, he could make desserts as well as main courses with his group on overnights. I think baking a cake at a few thousand feet altitude in New England mountains will be a wonderful thing. Item was ordered through local store and delivered within 3 days. January 2, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by sb LOVE IT Camp Dutch Ovens are the greatest!!! I have used borrowed ones am so happy I finally bought one myself. Recently I used it on the propane stove like a pan to brown meat then stirred in the proper ingredients, threw it on the coals and used it to make baked ziti - yum. Used it for cobblers and then my first pineapple upside-down cake and all turned out perfect!!! Suggestion for easy cleanup: dutch oven liners - superb! July 30, 2014
