Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome ! Love LODGE. I am relatively new to cast iron cooking but am liking it more and more and so is my husband who also prepares meals in our house. We have the next skillet up size but sometimes it was just too big for what we were cooking so we wanted one a little smaller. Once you get used to cooking with cast iron I am sure you will love it as much as we do. I also love the fact that LODGE is MADE IN THE USA !!!!!! Something I look for all the time when shopping ! Rated 5 out of 5 by Lodge Cast Iron Logic Skillet I have seen these skillets in other stores and online for a lot more money. I bought this one because it looked like it would hold up well when being USED. I didn't want a one time use and have to throw it away. It worked just like I thought it would. It has held up very well. I expect to have this skillet for a very long time. April 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Classic ruggedness and dependability You just cann't go wrong with cast iron. Takes high heat in the kitchen or on a campfire. Pan comes preseasoned, which saves some prep time, especially those not used to using cast iron. As with any cast iron, the handle will get hot during usage, so be VERY careful when handling. I am giving 4 stars because that handle is short for pan size. The assist handle is a must use for larger dishes. November 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lodge 10' cast iron skillet w/assist handle My husband and I purchased this skillet to take on camping trips. We made fried potatoes with onions and green peppers on our latest camping trip. Everything was nicely browned but not burned, and just delicious! The assist handle made it easy to lift the skillet. Cleaning was simple using a nylon pad to loosen the cooked on food. We used organic coconut oil to season the pan. It worked great and left no aftertaste. We would highly recommend this skillet for camping or home use. September 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great pan for tailgating! It's heavy and sturdy for a tailgating session. It's also a good size for all kinds of recipes and i have surprised myself how I also use it at home in my oven. October 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lodge 10 1/4 inch cast iron skillet Perfect for camping, everyday or emergency preparedness. Great size October 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great heavy duty skillet Use on camping trips on charcoal grills, and over bon fires. Gets hot and does its job perfectly. No stick works well. Is very heavy, and can be slightly hard to clean if not attended too right after it is used, but this is no different than any other skillet. July 4, 2012
