St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinning Rods 4.4 5 10 10
excellent rod i have 3 of these and they are my faviorite rods i own several st croix rods very durable never broke one i have pulled to muskies in both around 40 inches excellent rod December 5, 2012
A little insight for novice fisherman I noticed people complaing about these rods breaking , I own six of them, Ive never broken one and have caught multitudes of bass on them. High qualty rods are not designed to hoist fish into the boat.. If you persist in doing this you will be fishing 40.00 dollar rods all your life as you will break every good one you buy . If you like flipping fish in the boat get an UGLY STICK, they are hard to break & you can also use it as a pool stick on friday night at the pool hall. Quality rods are designed so they are sensative and you can feel the slightest of bites , I can identify structure with one . try using your head for more than a hat rack !A guy in my club has broken three hoisting fish, what a hard head . Great Rod for Largemouth Bass fishing i use this Wacky Style Mojo Bass Wacky Style with a finesse Zoom Worm wacky rigged. the First Cast not even 10 seconds in the water and i caught a 2# largemouth that had a fat belly. the rod performed well. im hoping to catch some larger ones. the Rod Casts Well and there are plenty of guides and it is Well Made in the USA. This is my second St Croix Rod i love them. August 2, 2012
Great Rod have bought again and again!!! We have always bought the best of the best at our local [@] but since they went out of business we've been purchasing from Dick's and have purchased 3 of these and it is my favorite rod out of all of them. July 14, 2012
Real nice rods for the money The rod I bought actually has Dropping Shotting stated on it but I've been using it for Wacky rigging and other weightless plastics. It works great. At first I didnt think I would like the split grip but have since became a big fan of it. Havent found any dislikes with the rod yet. I may have to try some of St. Croix's other series of rods now.... April 9, 2012
Great Bass Rod!!!! I love the feel, I can set the hook and know I set it. I use it with my PFLUEGER spinning reel they make a great combination. May 14, 2011
This is a great rod at the [$] price As long as you dont horse things and use the rod as intended it is a great rod for the money. I have landed fish to 6 lbs on it with a shakey head. I either lip or net my fish when using this rod. It is not designed to swing fish into the boat. For the price I think you would be hard pressed to find anything more sensitive. October 7, 2010
This rod has not met expectations the rod is very fragile and has broken on me twice. I fish tournaments on a regular bases and the rod has got me some winners. but it has gave me more problems then anything. 1. while lifting a fish into the boat the rod tip snapped 2. while pulling out drag from my reel it snapped in the same place. I would not suggest this rod if u are not anything from an advanced fishermen. September 20, 2010
Broken 2 Rod is very great. Best I have ever had but I have broken 2 of these rods in less than 2 weeks. One of the rods broke when I was pulling in a 21 inch pike I didn't want to catch. Very brittle. Good thing for Dick's return policy! August 21, 2010
