Great Rod its a great rod if you're looking for a medium power rod, i use it for mostly pond and river fishing, pond fishing as we all know you need to be accurate, well i haven't been more accurate fishing at my local pond July 15, 2011
Best Buy for the Money I recentley bought this rod and love it. Its incredibly lite weight and a great back bone. I fish on small lakes and do alot of pond fishing catching 5 pounders and some hybrid bass and land em no problem. Great Buy for the Money$ GReat product St.Croix! March 9, 2011
Excellent Rod I bought this rod as I wanted a decent medium rod with a fast action tip. I bought a Pfueger spinning reel and they make a good combination. I have used it for a little over a month now and I'm able to set the hook faster and catch more bass than ever before. It has excellent sensitivity too. It is strong and sturdy and I can pull 5+ pounds out of the lake all day long. I am very very happy with this rod and am looking forward to purchasing another St Crox rod. I highly recommend this rod - the best I've found for the price. June 11, 2010
