Great Buy
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter. In the past we picked up the cheaper child rods and had 2 of them break already. We have gone fishing a few times at lakes around our house and the reel has held up great. No string tangles and no issues yet. Well worth the extra 5 bucks over the cheap child rods.

For the Birds
Just got back into fishing and thought I would step up my game from using 10lb mono to an actual fishing rod and reel combo. Should've stuck with the string, this product sucks, the line constantly tangles in the reel and has a general feeling of inferiority, I replaced it with a Shakespeare "Tiger" and I'm loving it. The tackle box is nice especially for beginners like me but that's it.
