The double sided tape holds the mirror to the helmet very well. It's nice to see the cars coming behind you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wen mirror works well
I have just started riding my bike regularly. I ride in the dark and in the light. This mirror helps me know when there is a car coming up to me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by biking again Don't buy this
Pivot points don't work due to being all plastic and very tight. I could not get it ti focus on the trail behind me - not sure affixing a mirror to the helmet is a good idea anyway. Returning it and got a mirror that mounts on handlebars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TMBecky Not worth the trip to the store
Flimsy plastic with weak adhesive. Mirror about the size of dentist use, not worth the trip to the store to get it. Doesn't stick to anything and you can't see much.

This works well, it took a little while to get use to it. But maybe it will help save my life, from the cars that pass & are not paying attention. thank ya'll.

Rated 1 out of 5 by adamh600 Great item...if you don't plan on using it.
This mirror has great intentions. The mounting system comes with several extra pieces of the double-sided foam tape to give you multiple chances to get it positioned correctly. After using each one of these I was at a complete loss. The device itself lacks a full range of motion to make it adjustable. The closest I could get to being able to see anything behind me required me to lift my chin up as far as I could. This is not what I would call a mirror that you can quickly peek and get the view you need. This item was given to our dog. Maybe he can make better use of it than I can.

Rated 2 out of 5 by SusanC Mirror too small
This is a great idea, but unfortunately, the mirror is too small to be helpful to me.
This might be better if I was riding on a road and looking for cars, but on a path, looking for riders who are passing me, I need a bigger mirror.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bikingbob Essential equipment
This mirror might be the best "investment" of any cycling related equipment I own. Being able to see traffic and who is drafting is absolutely essential on a ride. And, unless you're able to look upside down under your arm as the pros do (I cannot!) this mirror is the way to go. It's also better than handlebar mounted mirrors because you can see a larger area just by turning your head.
It could be better if it were a bit sturdier so that it would not vibrate as much and go out of adjustment in a strong wind, but for the money, it's excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bykboi As advertised. Good product.
I stopped using a rear view mirror years ago. Thought it made me look less pro and more rookie. A lot of guys I ride with use various rear view mirrors & urged me to get one. Older now, more sensible & less egotistical, I got this one. It serves the purpose well. The stem that holds the mirror is a bit wiggly but it does what it's supposed to and I really like seeing what's coming up behind me on the road; if I had to dodge something, I could! Sensible, practical, safe. . . for ALL riders of any age or style.
