Waders
These waders are perfect for wading I've had really expensive waders that were just as good as these.

Leaky right out of the box...
Just came back from a steelhead trip in ny,my feet froze all day for three days straight standing in snow or below freezing water. It was like fishing in freezing wet socks. Going to return them today.

These waders are garbage
I am an avid stream fisherman and I am always looking for a good buy on waders. I found these marked down to $89.95 and thought they would be worth a try. Well you get what you pay for with these. The first time out the right ankle seam started to leak within an hour of being on the stream. It was on a Saturday afternoon and I didn't have time to go back and get another pair before my Sunday morning trip. Sunday morning I figured I have to just bear with the leak but by the afternoon on Sunday they were leaking on both ankle seams and in the crotch seam. Thank God it was warm out. Needless to say I returned them. That was the best thing I could say was the service I got was great when it came to the return. I would never buy anything made by Field and Stream again.

Warm and dry
I bought these waders back in June, but did not get on the river(wading, too busy lake fishing in my Field and Stream, Eagle Run Kayak)until Oct.21!! The river was cold, high, and fast. I had to walk through brush, tall grass, cattails, along parts of the river. The waders were very comfortable to walk in, did not leak at all in the water, and with a plain pair of socks, and sweats, I was warm, and stayed, comfortably, in the river for long periods at a time. I'm happy I followed my sons(he is my fishing mentor)advice to buy these waders. Looking forward to many more hours of river fishing next spring. :)

lighter weight, keep you dry
Used for work and play...I'm a pastor and use it to keep dry during baptismal service and am a fisherman. It works well in my belly-boat.

Good value but not the best ever
These waders were pretty solid overall. I wanted a breathable wader that wasn't too expensive and these fit the bill perfectly. they are comparable to any other entry wader from frog toggs or proline. i would recommend dual knee patches if you are going top of the line, but if you are buying entry level waders, then i probably would not. it just ends up being one more seam. i read reviews that cheaper waders with knee patches would trap water behind them, so i was glad that these did not have the knee caps. they did not have belt loops which was irritating. it was not an issue during use, but i always had to keep track of my wading belt when i was drying them. they have an inside chest pocket, but not an external one. it would be nice to have, but like the belt loops, this is something they don't offer in the entry level to entice you to pay more. neither one was much of an issue though. i used these for 8 hours a day for 2 weeks in alaska and they held up well. they did not leak and were durable while we were hiking. the stream was cold, but with wool socks and fleece pants they were good to go. breathable waders are great for packing away. they are so small and great for trips. they are also very comfortable and they are immediately dry when you get out of the water. we wore them on 2 hour 4-wheeler rides to the river and then another hour in the truck and they were always comfortable. i like that they were inexpensive and did the job. they did not leak, they were durable, and comfortable. i didn't like the fact that they didn't have belt loops or a chest pocket. i recommend them but want people to know what you are getting. don't expect top of the line because you are not paying for it. I used these with Field & Stream Pro Wading Shoes with Cleats which i highly recommend by the way. i am very satisfied with these boots and somewhat satisfied with the waders

Worse waders I've ever owned
Bought "Field and Stream" Waders at Dick's Sporting Goods in Nashville last August, 2011. Used 4-5 times last year. Always dried them out completely after each use. 3 weeks ago used them for the first time this year and noticed that one of my socks I wore inside waders on my foot was damp after first time out. 2nd time out both socks were damp. Today, 3rd time out and about 10th use total since I purchased, my feet, socks and lower pants were soaked. Had waist belt tight all uses and no water ever entered tops. These waders hold water out for only a short time and then these waders leak and are useless. Dick's Sporting Goods only stand behind anything you buy there for 90 days, even though "Field and Stream" seems to be their label.
