Total bust!
I bought two slime tubes and both of them busted as soon as I inflated them.

Flat tire first time out
I like the idea of a self-sealing tire, but this isn't what you're hoping for. I got a flat tire the first time I rode on this tube, on a short ride.

Worth the money
although it's not up to stopping anything as obvious as a nail, it does a good job protecting from thorns, wire etc. When I finally got to fixing a flat (nail) I realized that it had 10 or more punctures... I just didn't realize as it had sealed itself. Commuter's dream!

Can't bet the farm
I bought this item as an impulse item,I thought it was a great idea. After 300 miles I found two sealed leaks....but I just put one on my bike and it would not fill from the start.....if I had been racing (I'm a member of Team Livestrong) I would have taken the "ride of shame"(SAG wagon). An improvement to the valve design would maybe help. This will not be part of my tool box at this time until changes are made, sorry

Do not bother with it does not work all I did was put green junk all through the inside of my rim goto your local bike shop instead

Wouldn't go without it!
I've been using slime for years and I absolutely love that these tubes heal themselves when they get a puncture. Although, after removing a larger object, I've noticed that it helps to rotate the wheel? flip your bike upside down and spin the wheel a few times to fill the hole. This is a great product, and I always keep spare slime tubes handy.

Very Reliable
Just had a nasty puncture in my tire on my last bike ride. Was surprised the tire didn't deflate right then and there. It did within a few hours, but thanks to Slime self-healing tubes, all I had to do was pump up the tires and I was good to go. Did another long-distance ride after the incident, and my tires worked like new. Saved me the hassle of having to change out my tire tubes after every flat.

Love Dick's, but Don't Love These Tubes!
Like Slime....have experienced good results in wheel barrows, garden tractor tires, etc. Didn't like the "mickey Mouse" vulcanization/fabrication of the area around the Presta valve on this bike tire. Had a "rapid" air out flat as a result, while way out on the trail, slime fill didn't help a bit, even though hole was <1/8". Had to be picked up by the wife for a return to the trail head! My tire was a 29", the expert at my LBS said he wouldn't use them himself. Tubes seemed heavy, and I'll bet the slime fill contributes to an out-of-balance roll. Wouldn't buy again.
