The last comment seems to hurried in jud This cooler is large and 'rated' for 7 days. Without knowing the full details of the last review, I can only assume they filled the chest with room temperature items. Any amount of ice will melt to cool room temperature items. If all items are pre-cooled, and proper opening is managed, this cooler will surpass most needs. Great cooler, better than most at the price. August 22, 2011
what a joke Our family does alot of camping and we needed a new cooler. This cooler claims to keep ice for 3 days. I packed the cooler with beer, water and pop on Friday night covering it all in lots of ice. Put it in the canopy of the pick up. We were unable to go at the last minute so the ice chest was left in the back of the pickup until monday morning. The temp outside was in the 80's and the cooler was never opened. Now this is the coolers maiden voyage....there wasn't any ice in the cooler Monday morning and the beaverages weren't even a little cold. DO NOT buy this cooler. August 16, 2011
