Rated 5 out of 5 by 22Jim The Gen 1 Short is the best of the trigger sticks The Gen 2 Trigger Stick bi-pod is a huge disappointment, buy this Gen 1 Short model while you still can. The Original short bi-pod is the best of the trigger sticks. If you need additional length slide some 3/4" PVC pipe onto the legs and cut to your desired length, now you have a short and long bi-pod for about a $2 additional investment. The Short bi-pod is a joy to use. It deploys quickly, is very stable and works best on rocky uneven terrain. I can't imagine using another bi-pod. I use it in air rifle competitions and in the ground squirrel fields of No California and have fired thousands and thousands of rounds off of it and it still functions flawlessly. The one I bought from Dick's is a backup so I will never be without one. April 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Syclone Primos triggerstick short bipod It meets my requirements for shooting in hft category. My only complaint is that the packaging was quite flimsy. Item was not insulated and the box was not sealed very well. Get it right and I'll buy from you again. April 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beesbite Great !!! I had purchased this not to long ago, but while going through a door with my electric scooter it got caught, on the door, and broke. Since I use this to shot my photographs from my vehicle and my scooter it is a must have item, for me. Betty November 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Genghis54 Very utilitarian I bought the Primos Trigger Stick "short" Bi-Pod for my son about five years ago when preparing for a special bull elk hunt that he miraculously drew a tag for. This once in a lifetime chance was successful in part to this bi-pod that provided him a rock-solid rest to place a single 200yd kill shot right through the heart of a massive 900 pound 6X6 bull. Since that day I have often "borrowed" his Primos Trigger Stick for my own use (just to try it out for myself right?). So this year I decided to buy one for myself only to discover that Primos no longer manufactures this particular length bi-pod which is darn shame as it is/was the best configuration in terms of length and versatility. The longer ones are too cumbersome to strap to a pack and are too unwieldy to deploy when stalking game. The short version is perfect for taking a kneeling or sitting shot which is the most stable shooting position. Fortunately for me, Dick's Sporting goods just happened to have a few left in stock and I am darn glad I snagged one of the few left in the country. I will cherish its use for many more hunting seasons to come and my son won't have to feel bad about telling me I can't use his anymore! September 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Richard70 This is great My husband has been seeing this and has wanted one for a long time. It was more expensive in other catalogs and didn't want to spend the money for it. But when he asked about it at Dick's he was glad to see that it was much cheaper, plus while in the store he could order it online with free shipping to our home. That made it even better. He can use it with his crossbow and gun alike. He is so glad to have it. He is getting older (70) and hard for him to keep things steady. March 14, 2014
