Being glass, he surface has to be sand papered to make the call work. After using it for awhile it has to be sanded again. Found it a bit hard to get anything but a yelp out of it. Better than not having a turkey call.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Valentine Awesome turkey call
I have owned this product for about 2 years now and I love it. Some of these reviews I have read here are true. My glass top did fall off of mine but nothing a little super glue won't fix. The striker tip falling off well all I did to fix that problem was sand it rite off start with a new surface it works just as well with or without the tip. Make sure not to handle the glass top to much because the oil on your hands gets on the surface and it will not work properly. I do carry sandpaper with me it is always good to have a nice fine tuned surface to work with on every hunt. This is a very loud call and has worked well for me. I hope this is helpfull to everyone who is looking forward to buying this product. I recomend this product to all my hunting buddies. Happy killing everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Big D Nice call
I purchased the Tramp Stamp a couple of weeks ago, and I am pretty pleased with it. After giving the surface a good scratching, I find the tones to be nice and raspy, and this call can get LOUD. Great for windy days.

I have hunted turkeys over 40 years, using various box calls and mouth call with great success. I have wanted to try a slate or glass call for some time and liked the reviews on this call. I opend the package to find no instructions just #2 small pieces of corse sand paper. Printed on the package was, rough up the glass surface, so I rubbed the sand paper in circles not good! after looking on youtube I find out I should have went straight across the surface of the glass after trying to clean up my mess I was able to get some sound out of it before the end of the stricker came off. Not Good Bad Experience

Rated 4 out of 5 by florida hunter good sound that turkey's respond to
i used this call for two days and each morning i got a gobbler response although it's glass surface needs to be sanded constantly to keep it working well. worked better than my friends call cause he never got a response from his. i suggest bringing extra sand paper cause the little peice they provide isnt enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Big game Hunter Best Call I've Used
I would reccomend this call to any turkey hunter, from beginners to long-time hunters. It is very easy to use, and produces very realistic purrs and yelps, as well as clucks. If you are having trouble using yours, then try using other strikers. Sometimes using a different striker makes all the difference in the world.

Rated 1 out of 5 by turkeybuster bad choice of a call
I bought the tramp stamp glass call to use while hunting...when I got home with it I tuned the pot over in my hand and the calling surface came out..this may be a defective product and a one time thing but mine was poor quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jake very easy to use, great sound.
Easiest glass call I have ever used. Has to be roughed up to start then it sounds great. Had good luck with all the flextone calls that I have purchased.
