Rated 4 out of 5 by JP Bushnell Laser Boresighter
The 1st one I bought broke the red dot became a star & It jump around. Dicks as always excellent service let me return it of another. I would have to say its ok for the person sighting the once in a while scope to get you on paper. If you need an everyday tool for bore sighting I'd spend the extra money on a better one. It is very easy to use and has from 22cal to 12ga arbors, which covers most of todays popular caliber's. I would of given 5 stars but there are better made ones out there, but if you want to pack a boresighter on a hunt just in case it will do the job. Make sure after 25yd shot on paper you shoot at a 100 until zeroed.

I looked into several Boresighter's and really didn't want to pay the money for a High-End Boresighter. Was told and instructed by an Employee on how to use a basic Boresighter and fine tune at range. Satisfied with product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Big T Bushnell Laser Boresigther vs traditional Bore Scope
I recently was asked to sight in my friend's scopre for him. After mounting the scope onto the rifle and making sure the scope was secure and the cross hairs in the scope were centered. I pulled out my bore score that I have used for years. The problem was the bore scope didn't align to his scope due to his very high scope mount. So I stopped into Dick's Sporting Goods store and looked at laser boresighters. I looked at the type that look like a rifle case. I soon discovered that they were limited in the calibers of firearms that they would work with. So if you have mulitpe firearms to sight in you would have to buy another laser boresight at additional cost if you wanted to sight them in. Then I looked at the Bushnell Laser Boresigher. It didn't take long to realize that the Bushnell Laser Boresighter would work with just about any caliber available and the price was well within reason vs the rifle case laser type. So I took to the cashier and paid for it. When I got it home I opened the package and found that the different size arbors were made of plastic, which at first I didn't like. My thought on this soon changed when I realized that if the arbors were made of metal they could damage the bore of the firearm, which to me is not acceptable. The arbor sizes match a wide array of calibers that include rifle, handgun and shotgun. The arbors are atttached to the red laser boresighter with a small screw. This and the fact the laser borsighter and the arbors are tappered allow for the laser boresighter to be securely centered in the bore of the rifle without damaging the bore. Which to me both are extremely critical for accuracy of the firearm. Bottom line the Bushnell Laser Boresighted worked extremeally well. In fact the first shot was within 2 inches of the bullseye at 25 yards. From there it was just a few clicks on the scope and the bullets were centered in the bulleye. The thing you have to realize when working with a red laser is that you cannot see the red laser in sun light. So you have to boresight the firearm in the comfort of your home. Which to is no problem. I would much rather do it at home where all my tools are, rather dragging my tools to the range. In the end the Bushnell Laser Boresighter is welll worth the money and I wish I had bougth one sooner. With the price of ammo and gas and the time to go to the range the Bushnell Laser Boresigher will save you money, ammo, time and frustration. So stop thinking about it and go out and buy one. You will NOT regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by M60 As advertised
This laser boresighter works as advertised. It is easy to operate and takes only a few minutes to boresight the weapon. It got me very close to fully sighted and only required a very few shots to be on the money. It got got me up and running on coyeotes the next day.
Thanks Bushnell for a very good product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bassinrad Total Junk!!! There are better boresights!
This is a waste of good money. The sight itself was not aligned, so there is no way to properly have good true barrel alignment. You have to at least have a good starting point to begin with. Took back the next day. Dick's did a fine job taking the product back and returning credit. Really best to spend the extra and get a better bore-sight.

Unable to see the laser pass 25 yards during the day when one would typically shoot. When it was zeroed in to scope at 25 yards it wasn't on paper. I spent as many rounds as I would have if I didn't have the laser.

This thing is garbage. A very poor design to keep the laser level. I would recommend Bushnell to stop making it, and would recommend Dick's to stop caring this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by kire33da worked for exactly what I needed it for
Had problems with a new scope mounted on a .30-06, couldnt get it dialed in at the range so bought this and got it sighted at 25yds and then went back to range, within a few sets of 3 @ 100 yards had it dialed in nicely and was very happy I purchased it to help get me on target- well worth the money, plus it can be used for most calibers with the little bore adapters which will come in handy Im sure-

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bill001 Not for rifles
The longest distance that it could be seen was 43 yards. I tried 3 different background colors - black - white - light blue - the blue was the best. The American flag on the package fooled me into thinking it was made in America - wrong - it is made in China. I wouldn't call that a "Proud USA Company"
