Poor quality optics, tripod fell apart on first use. Poor quality optics, tripod fell apart on first use April 16, 2013
Slightly better than trash! I bought it to test out on a 200 yard bullet sticker target ( to see where I was hitting ). The Tripod is complete trash, but if you mess with it for a good solid 10 mins you might get it on target... The magnification isn't that good and the optical quality is low. It was realistic at 100 yards, but not much beyond. My stock video camera can do that! That's pretty sad for an $80 spotting scope, who's only function in life is to spot! I also had problems with some of the pieces not lining up 100%, which causes other challenges with the image. March 19, 2013
Shoddy Materials The scope was actually decent for the price. Focus adjustment was VERY difficult to operate without losing the sight picture. However, the tripod was absolutely terrible. The plastic crank handle for vertical adjustment was broken in the package when I opened it. When I mounted the scope to the tripod, it was too unstable to be of any use. Upon returning it, the store personnel were very helpful and I wound up with a much better scope for about $10 more along with a tripod that was actually very stable. February 20, 2013
Good glass, crummy tripod The spotting scope is excellent for the money, the tripod is a piece of junk. It is flimsy and broke within minutes of taking it out of the box . . . i wasn't planning on using the tripod as my main means of stabilization, but it is still annoying. If you are going to sell it with that crummy of a base you might as well not sell it with anything at all. That said the scope is worth the cost. January 6, 2013
good scope get a different tripod scope is great for price range. Tripod is garbage. December 19, 2012
Great value I got the spotting scope on sale. Great price, great product, great staff. November 17, 2012
An ok buy. Hard to focus and blurry picture. However I'm lovin the x60 zoom. November 14, 2012
For the money you can't go wrong The only bad part about this scope is the weight, if it was a few pounds heavier it would be perfect. You have a shake in the scope and would be better of a on a heavy tri-pod.. November 13, 2012
Decent for the money Igot this to sight target shooting at 150yds. Works good. No problem seeing 243 bullet holes on a dark background at that distance. Also use it to watch the wildlife in the swamp behind my house. Like the product. Only complaint is the tripod is very loose and wobbly. Gets worse when you extend hte legs. Functional with legs retracted November 13, 2012
Decent optics - cheap tripod Decent optics and works really well for sighting in at 100 yards. Tripod is garbage and broke during first using. October 30, 2012
