Version 2.0 - Not as good as Version 1
This shoe is actually the 2nd version of the 623. Its made of stiffer materials and is actually about a half size smaller than the original 623. I owned the original version (13EE) which has been my favorite pair of shoes and I have gotten a significant amount of use out of. The new version may still work ok for you, as long as you go 0.5 to 1 size bigger. However, I ended up returning the pair I bought because they were too small and I found a better pair of shoes.

This New Balance has gone downhill.
I have worn New Balance for years and the latest pair is the worst I have ever purchased. I ordered one pair in the size I have worn for years. It had a blue tongue which use to be leather. Took the pair back to the store. Had to get a different size which had a white tongue. Depending on what country the shoe is made you don't know what you are getting. Dick,s had the same shoe but different in color and size and sole. I have worn New Balance for many, many years. I will not buy another pair. The quality of the shoe is junk!!!

Great comfort
These are the only athletic shoes my husband can wear. Good arch support. We have bought them for years and find the prices at Dick's are the best. Had to order online this time since they weren't in stock. Good customer service and timely delivery.
