Rated 5 out of 5 by BR Portable and easy to set up. The umbrella/ground blind is an easy setup unit that is small and compact to carry into the field. Light weight and works well as a rain cover in your treestand and gives excellent cover when used as a ground blind. Excellent product at the price. August 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by docharris Seems like a good idea The camo needs to be on the underside of the umbrella. From the ground (up into the tree), what you (or what your tracking) sees is the white underside of the umbrella. The camo should either be on both sides or, at the very least, underneath. The umbrella support frame could also be more durable. My use was to be in a tree stand for bear. This needs to stay in place for several weeks. The umbrella did not seem to be sturdy enough to withstand the possibility of bad weather (wind) of even minor severity. July 30, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Maddogbill Great idea but... I used the umbrella in the Adirondacks this season. Has to have the right sized tree to work properly, not always available where your watch is. The second time I used it was to keep snow off me. Had to use an extra piece of wool to protect my knees but it worked very well until a high gust of wind came thru and wrapped it up like a pretzel breaking many parts...just like it would with a regular umbrella. When I unscrewed it from a silver birch tree the point snapped off, no doubt it was over hardened and crystalized. HOWEVER, despite the pitfalls and flimsiness, I ordered 2 more because in the rain it will work very well, but again, you need a piece of waterproof fabric to cover your knees and the right size tree to attach it to. If they made it any larger it would be way more vulnerable to wind so it is what it is. If it is going to be very windy, take it down, it will not take any abuse. It will allow you to stay dry on a rainy day (except for your knees). November 30, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by PNWtransplant Stops water, Conveniently portable...but too small I have 2 of the umbrellas for over my tree stands which I used this hunting season (2013). They were tested in a real world cold rainy area here in southwest Washington. While there portability was very convenient they were just too small. I had rain dripping on my knees They were also very flimsy and one of there support braces bent and eventually broke. I will continue to look for the perfect tree umbrella. November 18, 2013
