The Only Athletic Shoe I Will Ever Purchase.....by medical recommendation
I always love my New Balance and have been wearing them for the past 10-15 years ever since my Orthopedic surgeon recommended them after foot surgery. She advised me that New Balance is the best constructed athletic shoe on the market with the best foot support there is. Her reason for recommendation of New Balance is that the money spent on the shoe is in the research and construction rather than in the marketing and sales. The shoe actually sells itself, that's why I purchase them 2 pairs at a time. I actually wear a woman's size 8 1/2-9 (depending on width and I have a very wide foot) but I purchase a men's 7 because I find that there is a little more width to the shoe and the men's seem to last longer for me. This is also the only shoe that the sizing is so consistant that I can purchase online. This is the only athletic shoe I purchase and will be the only one no matter what sale paper with another brand offers.

Good but one problem to keep monitored
This is the replacement pair I am purchasing having already owned this exact pair for almost a year. They are very good shoes and my use was everyday wear and walking my dogs a few miles each day when winter footwear wasn't necessary (I live outside of Buffalo NY). The only issue was that the stiching at the toe and sides rotted away and opened up due to getting wet- I have to walk the dogs rain or shine. The leather and soles remain in very good condition, but the shoes are falling apart at the seams. Just be careful about getting them wet.

Good value for the money
I like these sneakers, I wear them around the house on the weekends for mowing the lawn. They are lightweight and comfortable, no problems with the shoes so far.
