Rated 5 out of 5by For me, best driver ever I read multiple driver reviews, and watched several online driver test videos. I decided the Ping G 30 was my best option. I used the Ping web site fitting tool. It suggested the SFT version of the G30 with a senior flex shat and white coded grip. Dicks offered this club. I purchased it and have played at least a dozen rounds. I have yet to hit a ball out of bounds, and my drives are consistently in the fairway. I have gained at least 15 yards in distance. May 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5by Lousy Club!!! Do not, repeat NOT purchase this club if you are a beginning or novice golfer. The misleading reports on how forgiving this club is are simply that misleading. If you are Bubba Watson, or a very good golfer looking for a tweak, then this club would possibly be forgiving. Being a 2 year golfer, I had to work through problems with my Callaway driver which I ultimately did to hit straight. I spent the money on a G30 thinking it would be a logical next step. BOY was I WRONG. This club took my worst problems and timed them by 10! This club is JUNK for any type of golfer that is less than professional. I am stuck with it now and will find a way to use it just because of the excessive price, but DO NOT make the same mistake with this horrible club that I did! February 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5by Great tech for low ball hitters I got fitted for a new driver last week and hit all the latest models from the top manufacturers. I arrived at the store with the intent of purchasing the new Taylor Made M1 but after a few swings on the launch monitor it was pretty clear that I wasn't seeing much improvement over my current SLDR driver. My biggest issue with a driver has always been a low launch angle which cuts down significantly on my ability to carry the ball. After a few swings with the G30 the monitor was loving the results. My launch angle was consistently near it's peak and I was carrying the ball on average between 270-280, but from the 250-260's with the SLDR. My average drive was coming in between 290-300 vs the 260-270 range with my SLDR. The Ping did have a higher spin rate than my SLDR and most of the other clubs I hit but the gains I got in carry largely outweighed any damage the increased spin caused to my distance. I've now taken my driver out on the course for a couple of rounds and the results have been great. Not only am I hitting the ball higher and farther than ever before but I cannot believe how forgiving this club is. My bad swings are forgiven for the most part and the ball still wants to launch high and carry far. The forgiveness has been a massive improvement over my old SLDR. The difference I'm told is the CG in the Ping club being moved to the far back of the club combined with the counter balanced Ping stiff shaft with a high kickpoint. While most every other manufacturer is moving their CG more and more forward to try to combat spin, Ping has continued to move it back. Bottom line is if you struggle with a low launch angle and don't carry the ball as far as you'd like you need to try this club. If you're already pounding a lower spinning driver far and high the Ping probably isn't for you but it's still worth a few swings to see if it's more forgiving that what you currently have. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase and I feel like this driver will be the first club I've purchased in a long time that helps to significantly improve my golf game. October 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by My Favorite Driver Ever!!! I was always a TaylorMade golfer until I tried this driver. Not only did I hit it further but my accuracy with it was incredible. Since buying this driver I have switched completely to PING: irons, woods and a 5 hybrid and am extremely happy with them all! September 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Best I have used. I have used many different woods (1, 3, & 5). I got these from my girl friend for Christmas last year (2014) and I couldn't believe the difference in my long game. I gained 20 - 30 yards off the tee and a noticeable increase with the 3 & 5. I hit the ball straighter off the tee which was a problem for me before. I think the lighter club weight is a factor , allowing me to square up on the ball sooner. I have reduced my score by an average of 5 strokes per round. I am now looking at getting the G 30 irons and hoping for the same increased results. These woods are GREAT. September 20, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5by Great feel Great club. Hit very well on my first round. Highly recommend this club. September 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Worth the $ Good distance gains over my old taylormade burner. Very forgiving, most mishits still find the fairway. Also, this club is very loud on well hit balls. September 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Ping G30 Great driver, distance, accuracy, it's all there! The best driver I have ever purchased! July 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5by Game Changer ... Outstanding Product I replaced a Taylormade SLDR and the G30 is much easier club to swing and offers more forgiveness. I found distance to be similar .... for a guy that is near 70 forgiveness is a big factor. I have played 3 rounds and have hit the fairway 80% of the time with an average of 230 yards. Great club.
