Rated 4 out of 5 by 54 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by bike fuelband fuels me! The only thing I wish that it was is completely waterproof. Other than that it's really great. It keeps me motivated and aware of my goal and how much I'm moving our not moving. In a way it pushes me when I see in running short of my goal to hit that goal everyday. August 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nike Fuel Band Very good product, wish they explained better how they calculated Fuel and wished it calculated heart rate, but the product is great. August 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Nike fuel band It dies fast and it's not water proof and it don't work with my computer August 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This product wouldn't work with my Windows 7 Apparently there is some older stock on the shelves that wouldn't sinc with my Windows 7, I called Nike and they said this particular one that I bought needed XP.. (really?) and I needed to send it back to NIKE and they would do the necessary updates to my brand new band... does that make sense? I suggested a recall.. I took it back and bought a fitbit flex.. worked like a charm.. Surprised with NIKE.. FYI.. Customer service was immediate, NIKE answered right away and they were very apologetic.. August 27, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Flashy but thats where it ends Having been an early adopter of the Jawbone UP when it was first released, I wanted something that had bluetooth for wireless syncing. After wearing my UP band for a good part of the year, I knew exactly what my next activity band needed to have. First, I wear a watch when im out of the house. That means that there are two things on my wrist. The watch and my UP band. Which was ok for the first few months but got old real quick. I knew I wanted one that could tell time so I could replace my watch and only have one thing on my wrist. My choices for main stream activity bands that tells time were the Nike Fuel Band SE, Garmin Vivofit, Polar Loop, and the fibit Force. At the time of this review, the fitbit force was still recalled and hasn't been in the market for the past 6 months. I didn't like the look and the way the Polar Loop clasped so I narrowed it down to the Nike and the garmin. I wore both for about a week before making my final decision. Here are the pros and cons of both. Nike Fuelband SE: Pros: *Thin and looks good *Standard USB charging so no need for special charging dongle *Cool LED display *Tells time *Cool App *Will not come off accidentally Cons: *Not flexible. Fits like a hard bracelet *Very tacky so gets very linty very fast *Barely fits underneath dress shirt cuffs *Doesn't tell mileage *Can't change color of band *4-5 day battery *Not submersible Garmin Vivofit Pros: *Year battery with no charging *Constant ON screen *Tells time without hitting buttons *Tracks mileage *Can change the color of the band to match your mood *Can swim with it Cons: *Same clasping system as fitbit so be aware of accidental unclasping *Plastic screen can scratch *No back light *Horrible phone app Summary: I really really wanted to like the Nike Fuelband SE. The cool lit up LED display and the awesome app is what I really liked about it. The "fuel" points is Nike's own way of tracking activity based on movement other than with steps. So you can earn fuel points for biking, etc. The vivofit only tracks steps. The other important thing to me is the ability to tell time with it. With the Nike, you have to hit the button before the time comes up. Thats a bit annoying when you just want to glance at the time. Most of the time im holding onto something so pushing the button is not most convenient. The vivofit's screen is on continuously so it can easily replace your watch. The Garmin needs to take notes from Nike on how to create a good phone app. Even though you don't need your phone to see your daily progress with both of these bands, its nice to have when you want to get really analytical. Long story short, the things that won me over with the vivofit is the continuously on screen, the YEAR LONG battery, and the ability to track how many miles you have walked/ran. The battery life was a biggie. With my past experience of the UP band, when you leave it to charge for a few hours, you tend to forget about it and leave it at home. Until the fitbit Force comes back to market or the rumored iWatch from apple comes out, the Vivofit will help monitor your activity level and replace your watch. August 26, 2014
