Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW My daughter was batting about 300 in her rec ball league when the coach let her borrow a 2014 Mako bat. She ended the season close to 700 average and made All-Stars. For All-Stars, we purchased a 2015 Mako bat, and she was pounding the ball all over the place. The bat made a big difference in her performance on the Diamond. I am a CHEAPO, but in this case the better equipment was worth the money and helped her have a great season. September 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easton Mako Fastpitch bat Great bat but does seem to have a break in period before in starts to pop. Great price at $199 and free shipping. July 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product will improve your hitting This is the first composite bat I ever bought for my 12-yr old daughter. I am from the old school of not paying $349.99 for a bat. I will have to say that this bat definitely improved her hitting! April 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easton Mako First off Dick's took 7 days to put the bat in the mail, so I will not order from them again. The bat itself is everything advertised. I coach a high school team in Germany and the bat is solid with zero sting in the hands, I think better than DeMarini. March 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pow!!! My daughter borrowed 2014 model from a team mate at last years state tournament. She has always hit for high average. The Mako helped give her added power with a quicker bat through the zone. She went from hitting signals and doubles, to hitting doubles and triples. plus a few in the parkers. Now she won't stop begging for this bat. When she uses it during Dome ball compared to her none composite bat. You can see her eye's light up and pow first swing was a triple to deep center. $349 is a hard price to pay for us. But I think I will breakdown and get it. Wish they would go on sale. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicely engineered My daughter plays in the most competitive HS Fastpitch league in N Calif, and also plays A (Travel Ball) After seeing the Mako in action last yr..I decided to get one for my daughter for Xmas. We switched from a Demarini CF5 to the new Mako 33/23 13" barrel (pay the xtra $50 for the 13 1/4" barrel) if your daughter is a mid to lower level player. The 1st noticeable difference was the velocity of the ball coming off the bat...very impressive! Next, we looked at bunting and the balance/control of the ball was way better than what she was used to. Plus no vibration Her confidence has gone way up at the plate as she loves her bat...I think she even named it! My only concern now is the price vs durability...but Easton has a pretty good track record there January 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bat My daughter only hit about 300 balls indoors so far. I can tell you the bat has great pop out of the box! December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice bat Ok... honestly it's hard to give a review on a bat you just bought. We used it this past weekend and it performed nicely. I will say that if it lives up to the last Mako bat we purchased I will be very pleased. My daughter had 20+ home runs with last year's model October 22, 2014
