Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible Nautilus Service I ordered this online 12/30. I received it 1/7. It has never worked. First let me say that Dick's has been more then helpful. On the other hand Nautilus Customer service has been a nightmare. We have contacted them at least 10 times with a wide variety of results. One time they tried to explain that my wife didn't know how to use the machine, that it wasn't broken. 3 other times they sent new parts for me to replace myself. Yesterday they sent a technician who was there for 15 minutes and then told me it couldn't be fixed and they would send me a new one. We haven't been able to use the machine for 2 1/2 months. Now I must take off work again to receive the delivery(this will be the third including 1 for the 1st delivery and the 2nd for the technician) and then put the new machine together. And this is the kicker, I was told I must hold onto the old machine for 5 days after I receive the new just in case the quality control team wants to inspect it. If not it is my job to get rid of the old one. I am including pics of the machine after the tech left with the parts all over the floor, March 9, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Nautilus Customer service I bought this product on 12/30 and have yet to get to use it(today is 3/9. First of all, Dick's has been wonderful. There was a problem with the machine as soon as I put it together. Because it was a warranty problem, I had to get in touch with Nautilus. I have contacted them at least 10 times. They have sent new parts that I have changed out twice. Finally they sent a technician (2 1/2 months later) who came and took it apart and said that it couldn't be fixed and they would send me a new one. He then left with the old one in pieces all over the floor(I have pics). I must now take another day off from work to be available for a delivery within a 5 hour window. The customer service lady at Nautilus(Deb) was very rude. I was also told that once I receive the new machine, I must hold onto the old one for 5 days to make sure their quality control team doesn't want it back. Not sure how good the machine is, I haven't gotten to use it yet. March 9, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by The machine is ok, no so much for Nautilus warranty service. I ordered this elliptical online through Dick's Sporting Goods and everything went well from ordering to delivery and set-up. When I started using the machine the next morning, I noticed the speed and distance was way off, showing only 1.4 mph when it should have shown over 5 mph and after 30 minutes it showed about .8 miles. I contacted Nautilus customer service and was told to start to disassemble the machine, which would require a special tool they said I could purchase from them so as to find the problem. I finally had to demand they send a service tech to fix the machine as it was brand new and still under warranty, they reluctantly agreed to send a repairman, but warned me they would only pay for one visit and if they had to order parts and come back again that I would have to pay for it. The service tech contacted me and scheduled a time to come which was a week out, but he was far more pleasant and helpful than the customer service people, he asked some questions and diagnosed the problem over the phone, ordered the parts to be shipped to me and them will come out and install them, I'll see how this all goes and then review again later. I have had warranty claims on exercise equipment of other brands in the past and it was a good experience, but not this time with Nautilus, their customer service is awful, and based on that I wouldn't recommend Nautilus products to anyone. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Easy to Assemble I purchased this in the store for my wife's birthday present. They were out of stock, and it had to be shipped from Portland to Northern VA. I received it in about a week. It was very easy to assemble, and took about an hour and fifteen minutes. Surprisingly enough, the directions were well written/diagramed which is odd for anything you buy and have to assemble. It is very sturdy, even on our basement carpeting. I had no issues with the electronic panel as some people have mentioned. Don't spend the extra money on the upgraded model which is the E616 or E618 I believe. You're paying an extra $200-$300 for the automatic incline, when you can easily adjust it yourself. March 26, 2015
