Great Cargo/Ski Box Just bought one today at Dick's SG Hayden Meadows in Portland, Oregon. Installation was a no-brainer. No noticeable wind noise in the highway. Great size and value. Just got one key though which is unusual, got to get one more from Yakima. March 29, 2013
Great box, easy install, super value Dick's had the box in stock. Dick's employee Mr.Angelos was very helpful in explaining the SkyBox features as well as helped me carry the box out of the store and installed immediately. Installation was quick and easy. Features we like are: 1-The box opens from both sides. 2-The box has easy to install lever clamps that locked on the crossbars. Versus using u-bolts, nuts, washers, etc. to install. 3-No wind noise and drag. 4-Aerodynamic sleek look. We installed the box directly from the store to our Aspen by the light of the Dick's Sporting goods sign at night. We packed the SkyBox the next AM and took a trip to the Smokey Mountains. I never would have known it was atop of the vehicle. No noticeable wind noise or fuel economy reduction. I got the SkyBox not the SkyBox Pro which includes a cargo net and pad. The additional accessories would be nice. Dick's S/G only had a single key. Yakima C/S sent an additional key free of charge. July 30, 2012
This box carries its weight and more! Partnered with the rail system, this box went the distance on its first outing from Boston to Lake Vermillion, MN - about 3,000 miles RT. Carried luggage and coolers as well as life jackets and other sundries. Thanks again to Garret (Nashua, NH)for going above and beyond helping these oldsters get the system in place and ready for loading. He knew his products and provided exceptional customer care and courtesy through the whole adventure in purchasing. July 9, 2012
