When we got it home we saw the item was used. I had to go back twice to your store.

Purchased this set for a trip to Bonaire for a full week of snorkeling (there's very little else to do there). We are in no way expert snorkelers and kept to the "easy" locations. Easy entry/exit and gentle surf. However, on the next-to-last day, the hinge snapped on one side. Of course, I'm outside of the 90 days to return/discuss a return with Dicks. Luckily, we were able to rig it up to use for one last day. But, this set should have lasted more than one trip. This was not intended to be a "throw away" set. Very disappointed in this pair. Unfortunate, too, since Aqua Lung was supposed to be a sturdy brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ali Some issues
I purchased this set for my trip to St. Thomas. I figured a set of three isn't always the best, but it would do for basic snorkeling. The goggles and fins were fine, but the snorkel was absolutely terrible. I used it for my trip but did not do as much snorkeling as i wanted because of how bad it leaked! I know I don't snorkel often, but I know how to clear and use it just fine. After clearing it, the snorkel would fill with water after about five breaths and I'd have to clear it again. Essentially, I ended up swallowing a lot of sea water and not enjoying my snorkel time as much as I wanted. I would suggest buying a separate snorkel and foregoing the set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lizzz Fits well!
Bought these for our honeymoon in a month, so I have yet to actually use the set under water. But everything fits amazingly, the fins feel secure, I've practiced using the snorkel, and I'm pretty happy so far!

Rated 1 out of 5 by JS Broke on first use
Bought this new for a snorkeling trip to the Bahamas. On first day of use, we tightened the fin on my son's foot and the strap broke in half. Done. We returned them when we got home for a refund. Dick's was great about it and took them back, no questions asked, but these are not well made if they break on the first use.

Bought set for trip to Hawaii. Searched online to narrow search then went to store. It was the right choice. The mask was comfortable and snugged well to my face. Was able to burp it and it did not leak a drop in an hour session in 3-5 swells at Hanauma Bay. The snorkel did very well except for one event that was user error. The fins worked better than expected. Don't worry about falling behind your friends...three or four swift kicks will get you a long way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by funkb85c Performed Great
This was our first set of snorkeling gear ever purchased and used. I would have given it five stars but since I didn't have any experience for comparison I went with four. That being said we taught ourselves the basics of snorkelling prior to going on vacation. These units worked flawlessly. I can't imagine how it could be better. We snorkeled along reefs south of Cancun and some days were fairly rough with waves covering the valve on top of snorkel tube. It never let water in. And when diving under it worked as well. Goggles were clear and stayed clear with no defogger rubbed on lenses. Don't think you would be dissatisfied with these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LIz J Bring your own snorkling equipment on vacation
When going on vacation to a warm place with beautiful seas; bring your snorkling equipment. The Aqua-Lung fins and mask are a great combo. The tube has a valve on the end that stops salt water from coming in. The silicone seal around the mask is also good at keeping the salt water out. If you have a narrow face like mine, it really does work well. The flippers are hinged so have some flex to them when moving around, especially when trying to walk out into the water. They all come in a handy carrying bag and pack nicely in your suitcase. I'm glad I brought my own rather than leaving it to chance as to what was available to rent. It was less than 5 pounds in my suitcase.
