Worked perfect for me! This rack worked perfect for me, and fit snug on my rear tire. I have wide off road tires, and the rack adjusts to fit all size of tires. It also comes with two straps to tighten the rack to the vehicle and a smaller strap to snug the bikes to the rack. I read the other review, and i'm assuming they didn't read the directions and use these two straps to secure the rack. That's unfortunate because i've had nothing but good luck with mine. Do not buy this! No matter how desperate I purchased this rack at Dick's because it was the only one they had available for tire mounts and I was in a desperate situation and needed a rack immediately. I was excited to see that it was Made in the USA and it seemed simple and easy to use. Granted, I knew that there was no locking mechanism to secure the rack to my car nor to secure the bikes to the rack and I found the [$] price tag rather high, but like I said, I was desperate. As soon as we got the thing on the car and loaded up the two bikes it was apparent we were going to have problems. But nothing could have prepared me for how destructive those problems turned out to be. The two bikes sat so close to one another on the rack they scraped the paint off of the frames. Also, the bikes hung so low on the car that if we took a bump or there was a dip in the road, the tires would bounce off the ground, bending the rims. And only 4 days into our trip the rack had lost the rubber coating and started to rust! Such a stress for us and we were in the middle of nowhere camping and had no option to replace it and it ended up damaging our bicycles to the point of costing more than the rack itself. We are extremely displeased with this product and cannot believe that Saris can stand by such a piece of junk. August 23, 2010
